  1. Switched off and cost us the game after being on the pitch for two minutes. Idiot.
  2. Hope he's fully fit and doesn't suffer a set back like Gayle has.
  3. They spent an absolute shit-ton this summer on Xhaka, Mustafi & Perez. Their wage bill is very similar to the clubs you mention. Spending the money is really not their problem any more, it's the decision-making both behind the scenes and in the dugout. The number of players they have going out of contract soon is frightening. Something very weird has been going on. One summer doesn't make up for all of the summers where they didn't spend, they had to spend that sort of money last summer as they will have to this summer as this is where the bar has now been set. Out of the 3 signings you mention only Mustafi appears not to be a mistake with the other two being questionable at best. Clearly many things are wrong at Arsenal but I don't think it's all down to Wenger personally. But then again everyone at Arsenal are far too scared to come out and tell the fans hey we are actually perfectly happy with getting in the champions league and actually have no intentions of spending the required funds to compete for the league. Arsenal haven't been the same since David Dein left. Mustafi is the biggest failure out of those three IMO. Got absolutely destroyed by Benteke tonight, although being beside Gabriel doesn't help. Perez hasn't been given much of a chance and I think Xhaka would look good alongside a strong, athletic player. It isn't as simple as spend loads of money, win the league either. I think a lot of clubs in the Premier League have abandoned real scouting to a certain extent in favour of just spending loads of money on well known or international players. Mustafi has been decent for the most part especially when partnered with Koscleny. The highest spending teams generally win like, just a couple of years ago Arsenal were battling us for the best balance sheet award look at us both now, would would of thought?

  5. They do generate a ton of money they just don't spend on a par with the cities Chelsea's and Man utds. Until they do winning the league will be a pipe dream for them.
  6. Source? Sunday People if you are asking. Just read it on the bus. Thanks Sempuki
  7. He isn't really suited to playing as a pivot either mind.
  8. Thanks for posting this Dave, i hope the swiss ramble does a post on them again
  9. Paully quickly becoming one of my favourite posters. Cheers for this mate
  10. Not yet, were filed on the 13th last year though so shouldn't be long. Cheers Dave.
  11. Are the full accounts on companies house yet? Imagine it will be a couple of weeks before they are.
  12. If we don't get promotion this and the forest result costing us would be ridiculous.
  13. Bet Neesy regrets this one
  14. I'd argue all things considered that we probably need both. give me an example of the experienced CB, presume you're talking forrin experience? Nah I'm saying that we need an experienced and young CB with promise tbh. It's not an either/or situation. no i got that yeah, i just wondered who you would see as an experienced player within our reach for that position Honestly i haven't watched a lot of football in the last two seasons outside our games since Rafa came, so i'm not sure i'm in the position to say much tbh. I trust to Rafa to get it right though, sorry i couldn't give a better answer. nah, the reason i asked was i'm in exactly the same boat...my answer to that question would be 'er shawcross' He would be in the mix proven steady premier league defender. I think Evans would be decent for us as well. Sakho and Mangala potentially although probably out of reach for various reasons
  15. TheDonis NO's Rafa Benitez expert.
  16. Thanks for posting this Tron Not sure how seriously to take it, but it makes me feel better anyway. Take it for what it is, at least the times have some repute. I'd rather hear he's staying that he's leaving, although I hope we don't have the same circus as last year
  17. Thanks for posting this Tron
  18. I trust Rafa 100% but i'd much prefer if we bought an experienced centre half this summer rather than these less experienced players we've been linked with. I hope this isn't a compromise between Carr and Rafa.
  19. Some posters on here are very fickle, centre halves take a long time to develop and benefit massively from experience.
