  1. Thanks for giving Mike more money to trouser
  2. Demba wasn't wrong though. And to be fair the same shit was going on then.
  3. Take hazard off for januzaj stfu Clark you idiot
  4. Club will be lapping it up to be fair. Blame the player for the club not showing any ambition.
  5. It's falling for a Germany world cup win is this
  6. Yup, but we have a habit of hoarding players with very few redeeming features.
  7. It was great defending, he knew Di Maria was cutting in on his left foot and blocked. He could have tried to tackle but of course that would be risky business
  8. If he comes in he would be the replacement. Why would he swap arsenals bench for ours?
  9. I'm sure he's not 100% innocent but any thing he's done I'm convinced is a reaction to the shitty way he's been treated by Pardew. Let's not forget it's not just Ben Arfa. It's also Marveaux, Yanga-Mbiwa and Obertan (although that one is justified) who have been frozen out recently. But why do we accept that? His manager is a cock so he's allowed to be a cock? I watched Ben Arfa closely for a handful of games as I was doing a piece on him and his ostracising from the first team and in truth that period totally changed my opinion on him. Certainly Pardew did him no favours last season, but when he came on he consistently jumped from exciting to frustrating. He'd have moments of brilliance, but he'd also hold on to it far too long, always try to beat his man, and was not conducive to a team dynamic. I remember Pardew's 'two worlds' quote about Ben Arfa and it's true. When he has the ball he goes off into his own little world. He's quite a lazy player (I don't mean defensively on this one either). He doesn't show for the ball, and in terms of his conditioning that's a joke. He couldn't hide the fact he was overweight, and I don't care if he's not playing, he should not have let it slide to that level. I love Ben Arfa, he's a fantastically gifted player, but I just think he's far more hassle than he's worth and if he this was the team under Sir Bobby or Keegan we'd be more than happy to ship him out. English mentality of always must have lots of work rate is really damaging. Attackers should be attacking and creating not playing as an auxiliary wingback and Hatem was for a long parts of games last season. No that's just it I don't mean defensively. That's why I put it. I mean in terms of showing for the ball, trying to work hard in that final third to conduct attacks and be the influencer he keeps claiming to be. I think he averaged a goal or an assist in every game he appeared in last season? That's despite not having a run in the team or the managers backing? He's far from perfect and we know we have a moody player on our hands but asking him to do things he isn't capable of doesn't help nor does making him the scapegoat as Alan as his PR campaign tried to do. Bottom line is we will never see what he's capable of under this regime.

  11. Wouldn't make a difference mate. This c*** owns the club lock stock and barrell and other than holding a gun to his head and making him sell it we are screwed. Nah, if something like Sterling happened I'd have to believe premier league would step in. They have the fit and proper test thing for a reason i doubt they would be ok with racist owners. The premier league can't do anything to him. We aren't a franchise and he can't be made to relinquish control of the club

  13. Guest of the second worst team in the paddock. dat Vip life
  14. We could sell him for £80m, it wouldn't change anything. Whilst we won't see the thick end of money received for selling players reinvested, I'm somewhat p*ssed off with the principle of the whole thing. We're letting our better players go to same division teams for f*** all, that's what annoys me right now. At least Southampton are making clubs pay relatively big money for their better players, 8m from Arsenal is absolutely f*** all. It's criminal, whether we see it reinvested or not. It almost feels like giving up an advantage in a weird way. Yup yet someone people seem to believe we've done well to get 8 million lol
  15. Given Tiote actually isn't that good maybe this guy could be an upgrade.

  17. The lad's been sold an utter lie, not his fault tbh. He's not the first and won't be the last player to fall for the spin and bullshit. Far too trusting but he'll soon have his eyes opened, the poor c***. People keep saying this, but do you really think a Dutch international is that naive? Do you not think he has advisors on top of his agent scouting the clubs that are interested in his services? I know players far smaller than Siem de Jong who do a logo f research on prospective suitors. I think he's probably been told that and has said it so it's on record. That way he comes here, does well, and if we aren't there he's got his exit strategy. This game is very PR orientated now. The idea he's some meek little lamb who's been conned by us is somewhat misleading. I wouldn't have thought so. He may well have researched the club, but also he prob had extensive meetings with our lot, who would have told him about what we hope to achieve etc. It's hardly a stretch to think that he might well have took it at face value. he's hardly going to turn around when he wants a move and say "well they said they were aiming for the champions league" He'll likely have English representatives too, or at least a company with links to English clubs/the league. It's very common to seek outside opinions that are objective of the situation (i.e. with nothing to gain). Tim Vickery has mentioned doing this a lot, being an information point for clubs. I think he'll be aware of our league finishes and the s*** season we just had/our lack of spending. I'll concede he may not be cynical enough to use it like I first proposed, but I bet there's part of him questioning how honest they are. The sad thing is, de Jong is the kind of player we should be looking at to get that Champions League football. Yeah definitely, I think he'll have questioned it but I do think they'll have sold him an a pipe dream. PR/Spin similar to what Cabaye was told in regard to the football we would play. SDJ wins regardless to be fair: He performs well and ge gets sold to a bigger club. He doesn't and we are stuck with his sizeable wage for 6 years ala Obertan.
  18. Pards probly showed him Ryan Taylors free kicks and said don't worry Siem our real first choice right back has been injured for awhile Debuchy was only a stop gap.
  19. Proven Champions League player who's shown he can handle the premier league at the peak of his career in the current market where unproven english leftbacks get sold for 30million
  20. Tbf the sooner Ashley recoups his money the sooner he is off. He doesnt seem to be taking his money back. The idea that he will fck off once he gets his loan back is looking thin. The club is now in his empire. No need to sell. Self sufficient and advertisrs his brands. Job done. And is now turning a profit and will continue to do so as long as he can ensure premiership survival. Truth be told NUFC is a fantastic part of his portfolio we are just collateral damage.
  21. Tbf the sooner Ashley recoups his money the sooner he is off.
  22. They should be giving us money to take that shit cunt off their hands tbf
  23. The level of trolling if we went and bought Bardsley: "Everytime Phil was on the teamsheet for Sunderland last year they got a result"
  24. If we had any ambition: Proper Manager: Krul Debuchy Mbiwa Douglas Enrique Anita Cabaye Moussa Hatem Remy Ba
