Yeah I can see that, I think Tonali has to be the 6 if we stick with our current system, he has the legs which Bruno doesn't so he can actually function as a more traditional DM because he has the legs to cover the space our full backs leave. He can also carry the ball forward from deep as well and hopefully trigger a press which could open up some space for a Bruno to receive it higher up the pitch with a bit more space. As many others have pointed out, we've been found out, Bruno barely gets a kick most games and is usually marked out of the game, he's one of our best players so we have to free him up and get him in to those dangerous areas again.

You are absolutely right but the problem is we spent 50+m on the guy who is meant to improve us, that's 50m we needed to deploy elsewhere. It's obviously a fine balancing act but to achieve our goals we either had to cheat or be flawless.
-
Was obviously super exiting when we signed him but damn this isn't going how we imagined it would.
-
Well that was disappointing. We are such an inconsistent confidence team at the minute.
-
Oh aye, they will definitely improve over the medium to long term with such resources it's very difficult to be totally hopeless over any period of time.
-
Rather amusingly they've appointed a guy who plays 3 at the back and the squad they have doesn't seem to be well suited to it. Absolutely mind blowing they didn't bin ETH in the summer instead letting him piss more money on players for another manager.
-
It's not too late for us to go back in for him. We are still being linked with him after all.
-
City and Pep being punished for being stubborn and arrogant is great. It's just a shame all of the challenges are thoroughly unlikeable.
-
I could be mistaken but they aren't backed to the extent they were previously.
-
They do aye poached Arsenals sporting director, the absolute nerve of them.

It's all about the money.
-
I totally understand where they are coming from and it will obviously be gutting to get a price hike. At the same time it doesn't make any much sense for some to be charged so little whilst others are paying much more. At some point regardless of the ground they will getting a hike though.

Probably incorrect reports based upon poorly understood assumptions.
-
This is probably the big question mark which might get challenged again but the devil will be in the detail.

The path to establishment is yoyoing for a couple of seasons PL TV money plus parachute payments combined with the EFL strict ffp rules are great moats. If it becomes a free for all the person with the biggest wallet wins.

Why would those clubs be in favour. Correct me I'm wrong but Leicester won't be investing at the same level as us or city. Chelsea are very much a cartel club we shouldnt confuse the current ownership structure of Chelsea to Abramovich. And Everton are in the process of being taken over by Americans.
-
Because they are backwards looking. They know they can't ever win the league so protecting their position makes sense to them. If the shackles come off in the premier league a dominee affect might be created. Most clubs are owned by investors who are looking to make money for as little investment as possible.
-
The proposed super league was to break away from Uefa. They would have continued to boss the premier league with the rules super league or not. And it doesn't beggar belief if your one of those other clubs and can't/unwilling to compete. It actually makes sense for them to take this position.
-
16 clubs voted for the status quo because they benefit from it. Most clubs aren't ambitious to the point of challenging the elite.
-
Yeah this makes perfect sense 3 clubs outside of city with ambition to be more than these rules allow. If I have any low blood pressure I'll get myself over to reddit and read the red top fans gloat about how just these rules are.

Callum Wilson: offered 'incentive-based' contract extension (Ornstein)

Still ruing the fact we didn't sell him when we had the chance. -
So no abstentions?
-
Absolutely economics will be the limiting factor for sure to an extent. Tickets can always be sold to third parties to sell or bundled with other purchases for instance.
-
Possibly but of course if the PL and it's new rules are legally compliant then nothing is to be done.
-
How predictable.
