Would really like to see what Mbemba could do in that DM role over the ginger one.

No great concern. Dummet is a good marker and will relish the test. However because of this I think Rafa will want to double up so we can forget about Atsu, even though his defensive work rate was quite impressive on Saturday. In games like this Dummett is the least of our worries, games at home vs s**** a different matter. Lacselles remains our biggest worry in defence imo

Think we'll play well, be really hard to break down, take a lead which we hold for about an hour then concede. Hang on for a 1-1 draw. Think we will do Huddersfield and Reading Edit - we will of course miss chances to make it 2 and bemoan missing Gayle

Used triple captain this week, picked Lukaku instead of Kane

1-1 after taking the lead and hanging on for ages

Absolute disaster man

The outrage because of this man, driven by the same commentators in the media who loved telling us that we were lucky to have Pardew and were deluded for wanting him out btw. It's a shame but disgraceful? Nah. Are Leicester just supposed to accept relegation? Probably done this too late, he's clearly lost the players and a lot of Leicester fans wanted him gone. Probably us more than most realise that fan opinions are usually bang on.

He was so productive, not just his goals but his assists were ridiculous and his play led to so many goals and chances. Temperamental but a great player

Even a natural pessimist like me think's we'll beat them but that's an odd stat It is, especially considering we've won 22 games and at one point went on a 9 game winning run
-
According to .com this is the 4th time we've had back to back home games this season and we haven't managed to win both yet, the last time we won back to back at home was 2013.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

You'd have thought we were on a loosing run -
A proper winger on the left would do really well for us you'd think because of Dummett, provides a solid base defensively. He doesn't need protecting at this level. Him and Gouffran as a partnership is just pointless, would like to see Atsu given a run.

Looked sharp, gave a mature performance. Was thinking though where the feck was he for Atsu's cross? Absolutely on a plate for someone
-
Hopefully start well, take one of our opening chances and put our foot firmly on their throat. You just know they won't be as bad as their form suggests.
-
Pity, when most of them live in Darras Hall and spend a lot of their time exclusively in Newcastle city centre.
-
Classic game where we could be massively let down but we are going to score without a shadow of a doubt and if we're on it we are winning this
-
Apparently their keeper options are absolute toilet, like Jack Alnwick levels
-
They aren't a better side than us, but we always seem to be utter s*** at their place.
-
Totally agree. People harp back to that 09/10 season, at times we were utter dross and still won games. I don't know what people expect over an absolute slog of a season? To blow sides away week in week out? Some of our football this season has been sublime, at other times it's been extremely functional and other times poor. It's 46 games FFS.
-
Yep, think this is his first proper season as well in senior football. Played for Hull last season but was in and out. You can tell he's had a good upbringing in the game when he was young imo, good attitude as well. Can only see him getting better

I'd reserve that title for Reading
