They're pronouncing his name wrong. He's not Spanish. His father is Italian, it's an Italian name, the "ella" is pronounced like it's spelled, like in Montella for example.

Neglecting the cups is what really pisses me off. Aye, we won't win the league in the foreseeable future but anyone can win a cup. Fucking Wigan did. Even under Dalglish and Gullit, when we were pretty dire, we played two FA cup finals. I'd be ok with the mid-table mediocrity if we gave the cups a proper go.

Old friend of mine who died 5 years ago had it right and he had been following the club since before WW2 ; he said they might as well knock the place down and build flats on it. Can't see a better alternative in the foreseeable future. That's bollocks though. Ashley won't be here forever, that's one thing we can be sure of. The way I see it, the club is in a coma rather than dead. Like KK said, one day we will get our club back.
