That'd have been some goal.

Willock needed to hit that. We generally just lack that cutting edge and can be a bit ponderous.
-
Murillo looked really overweight from the angle.
-
The fact he was looking right at it as well. Inexplicable.

So elbowing someone in the face is fine? Cool.

Could spend some time covering the teams about to play. Instead let's spend a few minutes talking about what our darts nicknames should be in some shit "banter" then move onto a feature about Arsenal. No idea why I put this stuff on.

If this stays like this and we win tomorrow then 3rd-9th will be separated by 1 point.

Doesn't seem like it which is odd.

I guess he escapes the red because the goal scoring opportunity wasn't denied?

The Villa one has to be given as a penalty. Especially with how fashionable it currently is to play out from the back. You can't just have defenders decide to pick the ball up and try again for whatever reason. Was lucky not to get a yellow because a more intentional handball you'll never see. (Being generous he might not have known the ball was live but it could have been and he intentionally handled it) Reading the comments from Emery and Villa afterwards on the BBC article it doesn't sound like they have any complaints about it. When the headline said mistake I assumed I was about to be watching a ref mistake but everyone seemed accepting it's was Mings'. The Arsenal one last season should have been given too. I wonder if that's what's caused refs to pay attention to this happening but I don't really know how common an occurrence it is.

We are hopefully entering the part of the season now where we start to notice our lack of Europe advantage over our rivals.
-
Are Forest low key actually good? Only conceded 7 so far this season.
-
That was sexy. Gordon can stay on the right wing from now on.
-
Quietly confident about this. Arsenal haven't been firing on all cylinders so far this season and we do tend to turn up for the 'big' games at home.
-
Yes. It's my point really. On another day we win the game on Sunday. On another day we lose this one. But if you take the prevailing mood Sundays performance was "awful" and this one was "really good". I think there were good bits and bad bits about our performances in each of the games. But on balance I don't think today's was better, despite the results.

City being out helps like.

Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of positives to take as well!
-
They had a few where they didn't even get the shot away because they had awful control in the box. They were woeful in that regard but it's why the performance troubles me because on another day we concede a couple of goals in that match.

So that silly stat about only winning when Longstaff starts carries on. But what about the Bruno one? I assume we've won games he hasn't started but I remember this being a thing. Was it? Or did we just break it?
-
Made all the sweeter by the way he spent 30s to take that throw in.

How the fuck did he not score.
