Built on Westgate hill incorporating the hill itself as the pitch so we can keep talking about the slope down to goal forever more. Employ the bag heads to serve pints as they surely couldn't be any worse than the spotty teens they currently have.

Yes but what about the bricks, where do we move them!
-
My two penneth on the situation as a current ST holder, I'll take anything in or around the city centre if it means more people in, a better fan experience, and I can get out of the fucking barracks
-
Yeah but it's tremendous fun looking at the overlays in Google maps. And the brick by brick crack still brings a snigger tbf, but I'm a proper bairn
-
I'm sorry like, but top (w)right is peak physical male form and I'll fight anyone who dares disagree. The original Dr Death and Newcastle track and field champion.

Weirdly, Backpage seems to have a load of new old stock it seems, or at least very close to the stuff I remember.
-
Club store doesn't even have a sound system I think, just a giant Bluetooth speaker at the doors Think I'd rather take a note out of sunluns book and just close the store through the week!
-
The store is such a shit experience man. I'm sure when I was younger then store was rammed with Newcastle paraphernalia, bags/pens/caps etc. It's just walls of kits(not necessarily a bad thing) and whatever shit Castore put our crest on to try and flog old stock off. Resembles a well known UK high street sports retailer tbh, even the constant SALE, CHEPEAST EVA! shit I get every week from them via email.

Are bow and arrows ok?

I'd wager miggy would've finished that.

Or helping someone give birth

I mean it's been the case for fuckin yonks, how!? Was sort of hoping our less than glamorous season would've scared a few off but obviously that isn't the case.
-
I just think that's Bruno tbh but maybe there was more to it I'm not seeing. I agree with the overriding feeling of shit atmospheres at St James, just tired of seeing it every week when we all know it's not right but fuck all will be done until the end of the season at the earliest, if ever.
-
Must cringe on a weekly basis do you?
-
I would happily. It's about location not bricks and mortar.

I know old stadiums don't have the glitz or glamour, weren't built with mass corporate areas and restaurants or even nice communal areas for a drink, but I still prefer a stadium just being a good footballing venue first. San siro always sticks out to me as just visually imposing and impressive.

Uddersfield take the lead at home to Leeds in added on time in the first half. Edit: Uddersfield implode and go down to 10 men before half time whistle

We literally just finished a training ground expansion last year to bring it up to a good standard. I'm sure they have a lot of plans, but not sure if you remember how skelotonised our club was behind the scenes. This is a long term project (hopefully) and not a carbon copy of man city's owners unfettered splurge on every single aspect of a club without second thought. It'll take time and it'll seemingly be done the hard way if the PL and it's cohorts have their way, so just sit back and buckle in.

I wonder if we are really unlucky with draws, or in recent history we've exited them at near the first opportunity so actually going deep into cup competitions eventually just throws up big teams to our amazement
-
We are never going to win something if we don't beat a good team so onwards and so on and so forth... I dunno, just pig sick of shite draws and a gruelling season now.
-
Small sample I know, but very few 'oldies' in that picture. Wonder if we do have a pretty old fan base now and youngins are priced out/got better things to do?
-
Not terrible, but we did not look like the PL team last night. Was quite disheartening seeing Blackburn play one touch passes out of trouble from their box whilst we wildly flapped at the ball like it was STD. I'll take going through the cup as I do believe sometimes games are stacked against you and just getting through can hopefully be the springboard. Man united have been doing it for years now, it's about winning whichever way.
