The speed he takes off, you can tell Dier racing up there was the last thing he expected.

Heh heh, Brucey's not daft, if the result goes the wrong way he can shrug his shoulders and point the finger at Joelinton. Who he rubber stamped for 40 millions as he is nobody's puppet. Can it be possible to rest Gayle 'because he's tired' and then play Joe, who is clearly on the top of his form? As ever with this guy, words fails me..... Gayle would definitely end up injured if we tried to play him 2 games in a row. -
It's looking likely that the tweet was bullshit actually.

Depends on what you rank as worse between whipping your cock out for a second on TV or racially abusing black players? Because there's people out there getting 3 year bans for racism while this lad gets life. -

Pardew had to start by taking Hughton's blueprint and just using that till he was given the players to change things. Bruce has had to go back to Rafa's blueprint but I can't see any way of him either a) Being given the right players to change things, or b) Having any fucking idea how to come up with anything better. -
Oooh, imagine the amount of new student flats they could build

Did a double take when I saw the score. Had no idea he'd gone back to Ajax from Australia and definitely didn't realise he was only 30.

Casual little first half hattrick last night against Spakenburg

God how low was your expectation Lookman has a lot of potential tbf. We'll beat that out of him in a month

I'm thinking more about the ones that could actually get on the pitch for us then as soon as they went elsewhere were found out. Gouffran fucked off to Turkey and is such a hit over there the fans have barely even bothered to update his wiki page. Anita went to Leeds and had them not even bother registering him to play then binned off his contract months ago and he's still a free agent. Saylor, Shola, Williamson, Marveaux, Riviere, De Jong.

As a club we also have a disturbing habit of hanging onto players who really shouldn't be anywhere near the top level of the Irish leagues let alone the Prem. Wonder which camp Joelinton will fall into?

I’m exactly this. Felt happy for the long staffs and that’s about it. Beat man united and not be arsed. Crazy really. Few times now I've popped a stream on when I remembered the game was on then just haven't been able to pay any attention at all. Brain completely shuts off watching Newcastle and tries it's best to find anything else to do. -
He's got a weird managerial career. Never seems to stay anywhere more than a year and he's somehow managed Olympiakos Nicosia three times so far.

Anyone else going to see Football Ramble Live in town tomorrow night?

The Chron comments section is going to be depressing.

That's annoyingly backward. Didn't they have it set out so the smaller teams always got the gate takings too? Would be a shame to lose that.

Milan vs Napoli at the San Siro last season on Piątek's debut 0-0 draw but it was a decent game. They played the exact same tie again 3 days later in the cup and Milan won 2-0 with Piątek getting both
