Easy for you to say being admin anyone else gets slaughtered for differ in opinion of Rafas choices. But, I would say Mitro was good in the prem first time around, did he not bag 9 in his debut season, in a shambles of a side and with a shambles of a manager? I did agree on him being dropped for most of our championship season, he just never looked like he would get going down there, but then proved in a short loan he could score at that level last season. I expected Rafa to use him this season, but like what is going on behind the scenes now with Lascelles etc, if it's kept behind closed doors we just don't know what Mitro has done to annoy Rafa, it is to be more of a personal issue than a playing one, because to be fair to Mitro he's gone out on loan applied himself and done well, then gone out to a world cup, and now returned signed to Fulham and hit the ground running. I think if you cross Rafa you get frozen out, so you basically have to be on your best behaviour at all times and not question his decisions.

You can't pretend to be happy about playing negative arses to the wall football though. No threat going forward and being bosses at home. -

Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

Sorry but that's bollocks. Fans do what fans do, nobody deserves someone to come and take their club hostage. Fair point. But don't moan about something and then fund it. Have you listened to the True Faith podcast with the Rangers fans? Yes Craig is spot on. Particularly on the part where he discusses he was a none entity and nobody knew who he was, a bit like what I was saying further back, sometimes you have to be accountable for you and you only. With our fans it seems to be about what is everyone else doing. Have we got our own Craig? Or are we copying and sons of struth? The other thing is they (Rangers) moved much quicker, our support has watched this go on for over a decade. The other week thousands were in the town centre, many for a good reason but a lot out of sheer curiosity and pheromone in the air. I do hope, actually I pray there's a Craig among our support a guy or girl that doesn't crave the attention or publicity from slaying Ashley if it's possible. Every support has their ways of doing things, I just hope the time for continued talk of things is coming to an end and actual action is going to take place, to be honest having a go at your own supporters is pointless, we do it because we get angry, we are angry usually because we are passionate. At the end of the day, we are all the same and have the same in common and are fighting the same fight. -

In a way you are right. Rangers,Blackpool, and West Ham more recently, their fans have shown more in actions rather then words. People and fans need to take some form of action rather than just talking about it. And take responsibility as individuals,it seems most fans need to hop on board with others or feel they have to be part of a group or organised event, just resign from all things nufc if you are serious about anything anti-Ashley. -
Complete fanny this lad.

Cardiff City 0-0 Newcastle United - 18/08/18 - post match from page 25

Seriously shit. The team selection wasn't exactly what I personally would have liked. And again the subs were bizarre,I know some were forced, but I expected others, then came the golden opportunity to steal 3 points, because to be fair we would have been stealing points not earning them, but it has now been revealed Benitez chose/went with Kenedy if Ritchie wasn't on the field.Myself I would have had Jonjo Shelvey on it, who was our only good player today, or even Joselu. Really shit, I hope they learn something from this. -

I shared his frustration. He was having a very good game, it was an unnecessary change, other areas perhaps could have called for a switch. And adding to it,Atsu offered nothing to improve the switch. The thing with Ritchie is, not only was he playing well but he's desperate to do well for everyone, the reason he was fuming. -

Mo Diame needs removing asap. Perez doesn't seem to be offering much either. Kennedy and Ritchie awesome. -
What a lot of bollocks, we are better than we were last season. We should be a fuckload better and I fucking hated this window but we are better and Rafa is our manager. We'll probably finish 10th again because Rafa is so great but potentially it could have been a lot more. Imagine if Rafa had been our manager when we spend 80 million under Mclaren. That was a lot then. You would think everyone else is too, i would certainly say Fulham and Wolves are better than us squad wise now. I can only see Cardiff, Huddersfield and maybe Watford weaker than us, and they all arguably have more cover in positions we don't. But i guess 17th is the fucking aim for our soulless owner. I was going a bit OTT, we did actually manage 12 wins last season. but the lack of decent fullbacks and cover worries me. as above though when you factor in what other sides have done to address their squads and strengthen, we have hardly added but just replaced numbers, will they be better its hard to say, we have actually reduced our squad. a serious betting man would have us down there with Cardiff,Southampton,Huddersfield and Brighton, I dont have a crystal ball but given Wolves & Fulhams spending, they could do alright, but equally experience wise could do shit.
-
really surprised we did absolutely nothing to address RB & LB, going through a whole season with Yedlin and Dummett will be a test, Dummett im less worried about defensively, but Yedlin was pretty poor last season in defensive areas, he got caught out loads, And Dummett to be fair to him he has improved on himself in seasons, but if we lose him to injury we are gonna get caught short. this season will be a huge test, the first few fixtures are all tough games, and id be surprised if we won more than 7 games all season. Feel bad for Rafa, big challenge ahead of him.

Been in Turkey for 2 weeks, Thought I would forget about everything (which I did) no media no news nothing. Get back here thinking we might have done a few things, what an idiot, as if we would have..... The comments from Benitez are harrowing, and its just the indication he will be letting us all know in advance he will be in no position to sign a contract extension and its likely his final term. Ashley is the worst.

Is there a youtube or nufc official link anywhere, please? -
"Is the current squad good enough for what we need? I don’t think so. It needs additions, that is clear. It is clear what we have to do. "There could be a new signing in time for Portugal, but then I was expecting things before. As I have said before, if we have new players coming it will be good, it will be better than nothing. "As a manager, you would have liked to have seen these players one month ago, but if we can do something it will be better than nothing." When asked whether there was money available following Chancel Mbemba's move to Porto, Rafa replied: "Ask Lee Charnley". Nufc.com: Probably already been posted, but... Wow ?
-
I feel if Schar comes in we could still lose Jamaal if a big club have an offer behind closed doors. Or he's just basically Mbembas replacement?
-
Well they don't call him longstaff for nothing class
-
Like the title change. Made me think of starting a career on fifa with a pitence. And selling key players to buy or loan in signings.
-
I'm just imagineing the state of us in the next few weeks. We have til 5pm on the 9th August to shift out a ton of players and also try and bring some in. How the hell are we supposed to shift this lot out. Mitro,Colback,Hayden,Mbemba,Aarons,Saivet,Ritchie,Gayle? Tony? Armstrong? It took us 4 weeks to sell a lad with a release clause that didnt need negotiating
-
So will the premier league championship stop for a month? If not it will be hilarious to watch Man City and Others with half a squad.
-
Thrilled about this. Does anyone know what we will pay them after the loan.
