Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

Didn't realise it was Brighton v Norwich on Saturday, if we beat Preston we could start building a gap. -
Looks comfortable at this level, but that's pretty much what we all expected as this is his level. I prefer Hayden but I don't think it has that great negative effect on us by playing Colback.
-
His hair looks like it has been drawn on like Can imagine he's a bit of a joker at training.
-
In what way?
-
Fully expect us to make 6-9 changes, but expect any team we put out to win this. Would love us to get through this, the thought of a quarter final place No idea what team we'll put out, but my best guess 3-1 win anyway. Sels Lazaar Mbemba Hanley Anita(?) Hayden Shelvey(?) Gouffran(?) Perez(?) Atsu Mitro

Ayozé Pérez (now playing for Villarreal)

Mitro would play ahead of Watmore and they'd put him up front with Defoe. They only play with Defoe, because that is all they have (other than a very poor option of Anichebe). Mitro would be a wet dream for Pulis, he'd make that team ahead of Rondon imo (who was frequently dropped last season). Ighalo has already been dropped a couple of times this season for not being good enough, although Deeney/Mitro wouldn't work. Pardew would have Mitro playing every week, although at LB or on the wing. -

Steady on with the last part. I don't think they would start in the PL for any team that won't be in the relegation tussle. Not sure what your point is, only 3 clubs go down and both players would get in more than 3 of those teams in the PL league. Therefore they are good enough to be in the league as they could play for teams who aren't going to go down. Which ones? Looking at the team sheets this weekend, you could argue they'd feature in any of the below teams: mackems, Hull, Swansea, Bournemouth, Stoke, WBA, Watford, Palace, Middlesbrough, Burnley. Perez mainly, but I'd expect Mitro to get in about 4-5 of them too. -
1 assist in 11 games though. Be fairly inconsistent if you were making excuse for this bloke I wasn't, just looked as if he was carrying a knock. Not that he was needed anyway as his replacement scored two and created one.

Perez and Mitro are the biggest examples of why we're head and shoulders above anyone at this level. We have two players we can rotate into our squad as/when needed, who would walk into the starting 11 of any teams in this league and probably some PL ones too. -

Three tough league games coming up now against three teams who are revitalised in recent weeks. Coming through these games unbeaten and I cant see us losing another game before the end of the year. Was a 9 before the start of the season and still a 9, we're still in touching distance of those behind us but I expect us to start pulling away now. -
He's not the main creator in those teams, he was for us. Spurs and France have generally got better results with him in the team than without Whether he's the "main creator" or not, he's playing in teams who create far more chances per game than we did. Therefore, as an attacking player he should be involved in those chances and if anything, involved in more than he would have been with us. He's been dropped to the bench by Poch because he's a decent manager and realises that Sissoko brings nothing other than a bit of energy when teams are tired. He's crap at this level and will be a regular feature on the bench for Spurs, as we all expected him to be.
-
The mackems moaning about the goal but completely ignoring the fact that West Ham should have had a stone wall penalty. Bobby Madley with yet another horrific refereeing performance.
-
I remember when the Sissoko lovers on here used to claim his shit goals and assists tally was due to playing in a shit team under shit managers, well what is his excuse now? 14 appearances for France & Spurs since Euro 2016 started. 737 minutes of football 0 goals 0 assists A nothing footballer at this level, would do us a job in the Championship - but so can Colback.
-
Not sure if it has been mentioned yet, but during the warm-up Hayden smashed a shot that flew into the Gallowgate and hit a little kid in the face (I'd guess he was about 6-8). Looked like it caused a bit of damage as he had blood flowing from his nose. Straight away Hayden came over to check on him, then ran to the dressing room to bring the lad a signed shirt and spent a few minutes with him apologising/checking on his welfare. Top bloke.
-
He looked to have a slight injury during the warmup today.

Dwight Gayle (now playing for Hibernian)

Didn't score, sack him off in January for £1.5m -
If they sack Moyes it'll take a huge chunk of their already small January transfer budget. Would mean whoever comes in would be restricted and only able to get in cheap signings who have to turn out good.
-
They had won the last 7 prior to that defeat, someone I know watches them regularly and gives me confidence their price is very good today. Cov are finding their feet a bit but I'm assured they have a great chance today. Plymouth seem a decent price so thought I'd put them in too. If either of Rochdale or Plymouth win then my losses aren't too bad, it'll only be shite if they both fail to win.
-
-
£100 on Rochdale @ 19/10 £100 on Plymouth @ 23/20 £65 on Rochdale and Plymouth @ 5.23/1 £25 on Rochdale -1 and Plymouth -1 @ 19.62/1 £10 on Rochdale 2-0 and Plymouth 2-0 @ 122.5/1

Can see this being a 3-0/4-0 home win today, West Ham starting to tick against a miserable team failing badly.

Aye, hope we get stuffed 4-0 by Preston or something. Pardew told us we cant compete in cups and the league remember! -
