  1. Bale didn't stamp his feet and demand a move. Bale only left because a team made an offer for him - Sterling has been whoring himself around for a move for months and still no offer on the table. Bale also moved to a team where he plays most weeks (despite being out of form). Bale was also consistently very good for Spurs during those 3-4 seasons, Sterling has had one good season and one average one.
  2. He's got until 2017 on his current 35k a week deal. Why does he need to force a move now? moneymoneymoneymoneysittingonthebenchmoneymoneymoneymoney Liverpool are offering him more than that ffs. He's gonna get more money if he stays or goes. Like I said previously, surely loyalty would be seeing him run his contract out. Only problem is Liverpool would s*** themselves if he did this and do anything to flog him. He doesn't need to leave, he doesn't need a new contract. If it had fuck all to do about money, he'd play at Liverpool until 2017 and then decide on his future (try to compete with Liverpool until then). He's got the arse because he thinks he is bigger then the club and is demanding to leave 2 years before his contract ends. THIS is the problem with football, gone are the days of honouring your contract, the players can dictate when they leave and for how much for. If he joined Man City on 35k a week until 2017 with the promise of guaranteed first team football I'd applaud him for wanting to compete and win things. When in reality he is going to move to Man City on 150k a week until 2050 with the promise of 6 starts a season and a run in the cup. If he cared about playing football, he'd stay at a team where he is guaranteed to play and compete.

  4. Remi Garde has moved back up to third favourite. John Carver has gone from 20/1 to 8/1 after achieving one point and further bringing us close to relegation Steve Bruce is currently 22/1 Allardyce is favourite to take over at the mackems.
  5. Don't particularly think he's been that great this season either tbh. Coutinho's had a much better season for them then he has.
  6. In the Championship? No idea what I mean or think. I just feeling constantly drunk watching us these days. I just have a strange feeling he'll still be with us next year and will score a few.
  7. What's he realistically going to win at Liverpool? This isn't another Rodwell, Sinclair, Moses situation, he's more than good enough to play for a team winning the league. Oh please, just stop. You sound like the guys on TV, and it's annoying. He is a 20 year old that came through at Liverpool and has been made a fixture in the first team. Liverpool spend loads every year, and are committed to winning something, without question. He's not at friggin Hull City for goodness sake. He's a greedy little snake that has got carried away with himself. Completely agree. He will move to Man City in replacement of Milner and be their "come on every now and again" man. A disgraceful little tosser on and off the pitch, genuinely hope he moves and his career gets ruined wherever he goes. The difference between he and Bale for example (Tottenham/Liverpool being similar level) is that Bale stayed at Tottenham for a few years and only gave up when they consistently failed to be a European team. Bale also did not force his way out like Sterling is trying.
  8. Not when he is sacked if Hull go down. Free and available.
  9. No idea why, but I still think this bloke is going to come good
  10. I get the feeling the Darlow signing was in anticipation of him leaving this summer. He's looked like he couldn't give a toss throughout the season, no where near the same player as he was a few years ago and no other reasonable explanation.
  11. A lot of people have a huge chip on their shoulder about Colback for one reason or another. Over the course of the season, he's probably justified his starting position. Where has Sissoko been all season? Why is Raylor even getting on the coach? Tiote has been a complete liability for the past two seasons. As was said previously, Colback is usually tidy on the ball. No he isn't going to storm the Premier League, but he's not been anywhere near as bad as people make out.
  12. The closer we get to Sunday, the more I start to think we'll actually go down.
  13. Under 18 games with John Carver:- We've achieved a grand total of 8 points. Our goal difference has gone from -6 to -25. We've fallen 7 places in the league. The team who were bottom of the league, 13 points below us, are now two places and 3 points ahead. John Carver, a good man who cares about the club.
  14. Still think Sunderland are well in it, they could easily conceed 5 goals against Chelsea and Arsenal. A point for us will put us above them based on that.
  15. Yey! We survived another season so we get a chance to survive another season again next year. Hurray!! Woop woop. Against the other option of "yay, we've been relegation so we get the chance to possibly come back up and then have the chance to survive again"? What do people want? Us to be a Championship club forever? With the squad we have, we're not going to be fighting for anything near the top 8 spots. I think people need to get realistic and realise this - it is going to take major improvements for this to happen. People have short memories, we were a Championship club not long ago - our club has been murdered under Ashley for years. We're not going to be magically fixed and healed the day he leaves. On this day, we are fighting relegation - forgive me if I am happy that we do. Stay up and absolutely nothing changes - guaranteed. Manager, owner, coaches, atmosphere, players, ambition - nothing will change. More of the same in perpetuity. Go down and something positive could unfold. Wouldn't mind rolling the dice and finding out tbh. Taking a few steps back to clean the dogshit off our shoes wouldn't be the worst thing in the world imo. The club will be just fine in the long term, just needs a few uncomfortable years to get rid of it's parasite first. I agree, nothing will change if we stay up. That's from the top, everything you listed is down to the tosser in charge of our club. But going down, is more likely to have a negative effect than positive. When we went down last time, did anything change? Did anything change when we came back up? No, because the same fat tosser is in charge. Would Ashley sell if we went down? Definitely not, he'd make a bigger loss and he's a business man that only cares about his pocket. He wants £x amount for us and will not sell until he gets offered it. There is no way anybody would pay that for a Championship team. Even if we go down, we protest, we burn down Ashley's home - we can make him want to sell, but we cant make somebody buy us. We've in effect been for sale for the past 3/4/5 years, if Ashley was given an acceptable offer for us at any point he'd have snatched their hand off. But he hasn't. The only possible positive I can see from going down, is the cheaper games and fact we might win a few. Completely understand where you are coming from, but I guess if we all had the same opinion it'd be boring. Fascinating stuff. Source? Didn't say it was a fact, matter of opinion - only time will tell on that one. You didn't just make some assumptions about the future, you also made some pretty definitive statements about what has or has not happened in the past few years, with no substance to back it up it seems. Well no, I posted my opinion on a internet forum. Sorry I didn't explain before hand that it was my thoughts on the situation. I've changed it for you, if it clearly bothered you that much. I agree, I think nothing will change if we stay up. I think that's from the top, everything you listed is down to the tosser in charge of our club. 16. When they do the analysis on a football match and highlight one player as leading the show, then go on to show him making three or four average passes backwards/sideways to teammates.
  17. This will only increase the gap between Premier League and Championship.

  20. 50,000 empty seats would certainly get rid of Ashley, Sky and their lap dog media would make sure of that. We'd get a larger attendance in the Championship though, don't underestimate the draw of winning games. As has been said, don't discount the tourists/one time visitors/corporate ticket holders/away fans that attend SJP each week. The lowest our attendance would be in either the Prem or Champ is about 20k with a major boycott. That'd still be enough to keep the club afloat and funded with a little extra Ashley loan.
  21. Praise the lord Carroll is injured, it would have been typical for him to score the winner and send us down (in an Allardyce team with a Nolan assist). Still cant see us winning this, another big "hoof it forward" against our shambolic defence. 1-1

  23. Genuinely have no idea how anybody could play this chap in CM and leave two better players (and natural CMs) on the bench. It's a bit like putting Cisse in goal because "he's a nice lad".
  24. If the bloke in your avatar gets a game, there's only one outcome. To be honest, not sure how he'll effect the Hull game. But then again, nothing would surprise me with him.
  25. To be honest, I also do not understand the "i hope we get relegated" stance. If we battled our way to an FA Cup final with 1-0 wins against League 2 teams, would people want us to lose the final because it would be embarrassing to win? Relegation will not get rid of Ashley, 50,000 empty seats will not get rid of Ashley... someone to walk in with an acceptable offer is the only way to get rid of Ashley. I completely agree that next week should be 90+ minutes of creating an atmosphere followed by a sit-in protest at our season/the way the club is being ran. I hate the way our club is at the moment, but I certainly will celebrate on Sunday if we survive - I wont clap off the players and blow kisses at them, but I'll be delighted to have came through such an awful period.
