Been saying this too. He looks like he has most of the right tools to be a good player. But it would in the Italian or the French league as he can't keep up with the pace of this league. Maybe he would have had a better chance if it wasn't for all the injuries but it is definitely time for him to move elsewhere.

Sympathy perhaps? Having had so many bad injuries as well a being a nice bloke outside of the pitch people probably just want him to do well. To such a degree that they don't see anything when he does something bad and blow up anything decent he might do. The only explanation I got, he wasn't good enough even before his injuries started to appear.

I'm pretty sure he wanted to call it the Lawnmower League only he was very subtle. He's smart, witty and clever wor Lee, he is.

Carver will be so embarrassed by half time that he will refuse to reapear after the break and we will leave walk-over.

Will probably watch it and laugh at how bad we are and at that such a bad team is allowed to play in the Premoer (thanks Lee Ryder) League. Then I will laugh at the fact that we someone still aren't at the bottom of the table.

Aye it's grim. Although everything I've ever heard about his coaching etc suggests he's a massive nob. And I've seen people suggesting that he should have been the one to take over after Pardew.

It's true that the AshleyOut campaign probably won't have as much impact as the SackPardew did. Ashley is litterary a bigger obstacle than Pardew will ever have been. This will be a very daunting task but something has to be done. People say that we will hurt the club in the long run if we do this, only Ashley is doing that really well all on his own really. Nothing he is doing is going to benefit the club at all, it is only going to benefit Mike Ashley himself. Don't know what effect getting relegated would have this time. Will he sell? Would he do it for a lower price? Would he invest more to get the team back up? Would he just lose what little interest he has completely and just let the club drift? Not sell and leave everything on Charnley to clean up, with no money, until the club gets promoted again? As it looks right now we will go down, if not this season then the next... especially if Carver will be at the helm. Even boycotting, protesting or kidnapping Ashley's food provider will hurt the club then so be it. Better to take a last stand rather than just letting the club sink into oblivion without just as much as a pathetic whimper.

Keep playing him as a left back if he is going to play anywhere. It was his best positon in Sunderland. Should also be added that he constantly leaves his position to chase balls he can't win in midfield and leaves gaps behind him as a result. Tioté is pretty much the same when we are defending. Only he runs after new wives, pink champagne bottles and mistresses on the pitch too.

Must have managed to save a shot. Something his wrist can't have been very used to.
