  1. My advice would be to have an account with them all. Gives you the best options across the board, not to mention all the new customer sign up offers.

    Matz Sels

Not sticking up for Sels at all but in general, I think it's often harder when keepers don't have a lot to do in games. Goalies can look fantastic playing in a shit team, I always remember Ben Foster looking an absolute world beater when on loan at Watford from Man U. An error can be hidden by 4 or 5 great saves whereas playing in a top team you very rarely get the chance to make 4 or 5 great saves in a game.
  3. How on earth can you say he's not fit enough? He pressed the ball well all night on the rare occasions they had it and it was him busting a bollock to get back and deny Snodgrass after nearly 120 minutes. Some of his passing was very lapse 2nd half but to question his fitness/effort anymore is ludicrous.
  4. Agree with this. We constantly turn over possession when he has the ball. We are in desperate need of a no. 10 in January if we want to push on and win the league comfortably as between him & Perez they're making a right hash of it.
  5. Robertson, Huddlestone & Diomande were all on the bench Saturday so presume they will be some of the ones he's alluding to. Not one of the six Hull season ticket holders in my office (who do actually still go to games) are attending this. Sorry excuse of a club.
  6. When both players are fit Rafa has tended to prefer Colback to Hayden. That's just simply not true though is it?
  7. Hayden is more than capable of doing a similar if not greater amount of "donkey work" than Colback.
  8. Their stadium holds 25,450 so surely they have to give us at least 2,545 tickets. Hope we absolutely batter then the way they've gone on denying fans the opportunity to attend when there'll be 1000s of empty seats. Presume they take away seats for segregation before dividing by 10. They need to get their heads out of their arses and go back to giving the full north stand to away fans like they did for the first 10 years at the stadium. There were over 5k empty seats for the Stoke game so can see it being double for this .
  9. Very late but shook hands with Rafa after the game at Barnsley. Very polite gentleman.
  10. He did get the Sky MOTM. Should have been Lukaku though.
  11. Of course he's good enough for the PL. Players like Dean Marney & David Meyler are starting every week FFS. In my opinion he's the best player in this league and has earned international call ups when playing in the Prem. It's pretty clear that when he's in the right mental state (like now) he's exactly the kind of player you would build a team around. Thankfully we have Rafa to keep him on the straight & narrow now rather than some of the other pillocks we've had managing us over the last 6/7 years. If he loses his focus again then we have a problem but there doesn't appear to be any reason anymore why he would football wise. The club as a whole is now a great environment to work in.
  12. Unless it's been confirmed elsewhere, why are we assuming Ritchie is the designated penalty taker? Not like Mitro hasn't taken (and scored) pens for us before. My immediate reaction from the way he quickly scrambled to get the ball was that it was indeed him that was being a cheeky little scamp and pinching the penalty from the designated taker. Fair do's if so, brave lad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It may vary per bookmaker but I find they generally give you the option if you'd like it in cash or whether you want it to go back on your card. With regards to settlement it's almost immediate as long as it's a fairly mainstream event you've bet on e.g. top flight football/racing. If it was say 2nd division netball or something equally horrific it will take a lot longer for it to be settled as a win/loss on their systems.
  14. From my initial view it looked to me that Gayle flung himself over the keeper so never a penalty. The ref was spot on imo. Have you seen it back yet?
  15. Considering how poorly he played I thought Diame escaped any real criticism from the stands. The support on the whole was generally encouraging all night. His touch is the main area for concern. He miscontrols it frequently and it doesn't just run out of his reach, it bounces right off him. His anticipation stinks too. Always moves once something has happened when it's all too late. I'd personally like to see Ayoze given a run of games in that position as coming in for a start once a month can't be helping him improve his under par performances. 16. This was about the only game last season that Wijnaldum & Sissoko both turned up on the same day.
  17. There was absolutely nothing wrong with his "meltdown". The FA may not have agreed but he only said what every football fan up and down the country were thinking.
  18. He might have been playing on the right due to our lone striker being Dwight Gayle. Now that we have the option of Mitro/Murphy up front, Rafa may see getting good quality early delivery into the box as a priority so may try him on the left, we shall see. He's class on both flanks so a nice problem to have.
  19. The Premier League is faster and more physical and, just the same as last time we played in the 2nd tier, I've seen nothing from the other teams so far to suggest any underhand game plans or attempts to knack our players. Vernon Anita is more than capable of sitting and breaking up the play in this league. He really isn't like. He was at his ineffective best value Fulham. Nothing there to suggest he's cut out for that role in this league. 2nd choice right back or nothing. Playing on the right wing. He's more than capable of playing in the middle however he's more suited to a 3 than a 2. Shelvey & Hayden seem to have clicked for the time being so hope they get a run of games to let the partnership grow.
  20. Hayden's had a very mixed start, still learning his trade. Tiote isn't playing for obvious reasons. Colback shouldn't be playing there for obvious reasons. Who else would you play there?
  21. Sels Janmaat Mbemba Lascelles Gamez Anita Diame Ritchie Perez Aarons Gayle Not sure why Jesus hasn't been playing. He was a real coup when we managed to sign him yet he's been sat on the bench watching Paul Dummett. Ritchie & Aarons haven't had the chance to play opposite each other yet. I think everyone would agree they're our best two wingers currently. We need craft & guile in behind the striker. Diame is not that man. Although he's been poor so far Ayoze had a really good preseason and needs to be given time to prove he is one of the best players in the division. All of Anita's best games for us have been when he's allowed to do what we signed him to do. Sit in front of the back 4, high work-rate & energy. Move the ball on quickly. He only struggles in there when he's played alongside someone similar and feels the need to become more adventurous which is simply not his game. We all said the same about Tiote. 3/4 years ago when he was a beast, he played so incredibly simple but it was really effective. Like others have said, an early goal would be a god send. Confidence will flow and should Reading need to come out at us, we should be seen at our best going forward.
