He's a very good striker if you don't want to compete at the top level. Good enough in a team fighting for the title imo, easily so. Some of his link up play is great and his goal return is nowhere near as bad as people will have you believe. Sure I heard he had the most headed goals in the league since he's been here as well.

There was a moment in the second half where the ball got played to him in acres of space, must have had a good 30-40 yards he could have drove into but he chose to slow the play down and then waited before knocking a short sideways pass out to the wing. Hardly a suprise Wijnaldum and Sissoko drop so deep all the time because they know we have two central midfielders shit scared to carry the ball or play a forward pass.

Mitrovic was an exciting signing, a young player with a lot of potential and highly rated. Obviously you can't rely on a 21 year old kid to move to the league and score 20 goals to keep you up but he's being written off far too quickly here.
