I'm not sure, like. They overperformed their stats by a lot and still had the worst premier league finish in their history and with a negative gd If the club had confidence in him they'd have sorted a new contract out ages ago not going around sniffing out other managers.

Gordon going to be dropped to stick Foden on the left then I'm guessing? Bias aside I genuinely think Gordon is a better option out there for how England play.

Do we? I think it hinges on where Bellingham plays. If he's played as a 10 then there's not a great option to partner Rice IMO.

Pope is 6'6 on FIFA which seems about right.

Think they're far worse now.

Dominated the league and one of the top talents in world football is a bit over the top, howay Id be happy for him to be backup RW here next season I just think some are setting themselves up for disappointment with how raw he still is.

I really like the look of him as a prospect for the future but because of a rumoured £40m interest from Liverpool certain people are acting like he's Mbappe

I'm sure it's been a thing for quite a while. I remember winning a few player shirts when I was younger and there was definitely a difference between the ones I had bought from the stores. I just don't think the player issued ones were ever sold? I'm still not even sure if they sell them for kids sizes, just assumed there was only one version for kids? The 'replica' ones generally have a better fit for most average fans and are much more durable, plus have embroidered badges etc. I wouldn't class them as a lesser version. The player issues are designed purely for performance and to be as light as possible. They are genuinely paper thin which is why you see them ripped and destroyed so easily in games. I really can't see it causing any sort of divide, like. The replica version is what the majority of fans will be wearing.

£40m profit is massive in terms of FFP. It's rubbish from a fans POV to have to think like that but that's the reality we are in.

Nah. Just saw it on insta.

60 people from Paqueta island putting bets on for him to be booked in specific games that he was then booked in? They won't need a whole lot more proof than that to charge him.

Teams lower down are suffering already though? Forest, Everton and Leicester for example are sides that have tried to be competitive and been fucked by the rules. Even Villa may have to cash in on players after just securing champions league, it's ridiculous. I think a fair few clubs coming up now simply don't bother trying to stay in the division with how things are. Meanwhile Chelsea have spent over £1b and are selling themselves hotels so they can hoover up talent from all over.

We could, and possibly should legit be losing this final in this manner.

The late Madrid winner is going to be sickening.

Madrid are unbelievable in this competition, like. The amount of times they get away with playing shite is genuinely ridiculous

He was in the perfect position as a free agent really when two clubs that pay mental wages in Chelsea and Man U were interested. It doesn't really matter what state either club are in either, both will still be a big pull for players regardless.

It's a massive loss, no point sugarcoating it. Getting used to playing and handling European football, our best chance at a trophy and probably around £15m lost. It was in our hands but still to finish 7th and have the worst Man United team in forever who finished 8th beat a City side who individually all played the worst you'll ever seen them play is peak Newcastle. Genuinely furious
