He's pretty much kept them up in the last couple of months. 19 goals and assist in that shocking team and was injured for a fair bit of it earlier on. Everton fans reaction: https://www.reddit.com/r/Everton/comments/v10xfn/richarlison_on_his_future_ive_already_made_it/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share Most seem to agree he's earned a move to a better side.

He's absolutely loved by Everton fans, mind. His workrate is brilliant and he fights for everything. He'd be a fan favourite I'm sure. ASM gets abuse much more because of his laziness, selfishness and taking about 10 minutes to get up after he goes down. Not that I agree with it.

Can't wait for Bruno to run rings around the ginger rat next season.

Haven't watched any Championship this season but heard on a podcast recently it's the worst standard the league has ever been in. The three coming up will probably all struggle massively next season.
-
Courtois made some good saves but Liverpool didn't create any clear cut chances where you'd expect them to score imo.

320 minutes of finals played for Liverpool this season without scoring so far.

Keeper was ahead of Benzema.

Grealish won't ever be a top 3 player in the City team never mind the world. Foden is miles ahead of him already.

Find it a bit shit that Villa, a side that finished 14th in the league can go head to head with Atletico for Kamara and blow their offer out the water and raid Seville for one of their best players. Villarreal made the Champions League semi finals and have a smaller wage bill than Burnley who got relegated. The English sides on paper should be dominating all the European competitions for a while with how much of a financial imbalance there is compared to the other top leagues. Even the fact that we are competing with the the Serie A title winners for Botman annoys me a little bit as grateful as I am that those kinda signings are a possibility for us.

Mourinho has done a good job at Roma, not sure why people are suggesting otherwise. Been a really good turnaround since they lost that 4-3 to Juve at the start of January. Only losing twice in the league since then. Changed the system and how he uses certain players, playing Mkhitaryan as a deep lying playmaker for example. Got rid of a lot of the softness and errors they had under Fonseca and has managed to get the full support of the fans over there. They love him and the attendances have been great.

Paqueta and Lodi would be a massive statement of our intent like.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season
Jaqen replied to InspectorCoarse's topic in Football
Klopp has done a great job with Liverpool, can't knock that. Only lost twice all season. A lot of people were predicted them to finish below Chelsea and Man United at the start of the season. I know it's only supposed to be Premier League that counts but I'm guessing winning two trophies and making the Champions League final has worked in his favour as well. -

Lodi, Henderson and Etikite probably wouldn't be far off that and I don't think we are necessarily improved alot by that. Wouldn't be surprised if we sign one or two closer to the 40/50m mark.
-
I don't think there's much to suggest he has a 'system' like some managers rigidly stick to. Seems he's played quite a variation at Bournemouth and he's studied the game and different coaches and approaches alot since then. Strikes me as someone who's really open minded in terms of tactics and setup. Our form in the 433 has been Champions league level and that's with Wood and Almiron as two of the attackers. I'd be surprised if he suddenly changed that all up rather than build on what's been so successful so far.

What was the agreed fee for Targett again, £13m? It's amazing value for someone who is pretty much at least 7/10 every game and already part of the squad. They must really rate Lodi to potentially go out and spend a lot more on him and hope he can settle in and defend well in this league and a back 4. I wonder if Howe wants the flexibility to switch to a 3atb at times? Or maybe similar to how Liverpool setup with narrower wide forwards and really attacking fullbacks?
-
Think we'd have had the Targett deal sorted straight away if Howe wanted him long term.
-
Would have comfortably finished 8th this season if we had Wilson instead of Wood in all of those games.

Liverpool losing the title if City fail to win would be hilarious like.

City have been bobbins.

And people are worried about FFP stopping us from spending anything properly this summer
