Not to disagree, as that's definitely a part of his influence, but what I noticed was him encouraging players to get forward, with a kind of "yeah, don't worry" look on his face. I thin he put a lot of pressured minds at ease.

I think he has a chance of starting against Liverpool. To be honest. I know Howe likes to ease players in, but I think there is a lot less risk with forwards. a lot of their responsibilities are focussed on what they can produce, just a matter of providing a supply.

I have a vague recollection of that, but I also remember he was really keen to sign Patrick Andersson.

I've always thought he struggles to get up to speed, but once he's settled he's solid. With his injury he hasn't benefitted as much from Howe's training so it'll be interesting to see if that's changed.

Thank the lord we didn't enquire about him when Bruce was in charge.
