Past the cut off for ten yellows

Hope he enjoys the game as much as your Leicester mates…

Absolutely. I firmly believe their season ends the week before with the last game at Goodison. Playing Southampton, so will invariably win, big party, everyone patting each other on the back etc etc. Then can’t really be arsed with having to rock up to a raucous SJP a week later.
-
Not really, just a bit of a soundbite they put out to try and get as much as they can.
-
These have looked Leicester-bad so far today. And obviously Davis suspended now. Although Murphy got in behind him all day down their place.
-
Nah, he’d be our best keeper now. Eddie might do his thing where he makes him wait a bit to get into the team, but he’d usurp Pope soon enough.
-
It wouldn’t be the new the players that wouldn’t be getting registered though would it? It would be someone like a Lascelles or Targett (if still here). Not ideal, but hardly the end of the world. We’d go into the CL with a 21 man A List squad (assuming Longstaff leaves), supplemented by a B List with at least two bona-fide first 11 options in Miley and Hall, plus any other youngsters that develop enough to be around the squad. I suppose what I’m saying is, the inconvenience selling Longstaff would cause to our CL squad numbers, is nowhere near significant enough to turn down what we deem an acceptable offer for him (again, assuming we want to sell).

Barnes is 28/1 with 365 to score from outside the area tomorrow.

Loads of the lasses were in Wings at the Palace game.

They don’t have to sell, but if he’s unlikely to sign a new contract their probably writing off ~50% of his value by letting him get down to one year. Maybe there’s an argument to say keeping him increases their chances of staying up, which would be worth a lot more, or maybe he does well and increases his value, so they get close to what they would get now anyway. But it’s still a risk.
-
Miley doesn’t count towards that due to his age. He goes on List B (the junior list), not List A.
-
Contract’s up in 2027, so probably not.

Yeah, sometimes there’s a difference between digital/paper, standing/seating, normal view/restricted view, or anything like that really, and you’ve got to make sure it’s set to the same as when you purchased.

Covers the ground like prime Kante.

I think you may be underestimating the effects of pneumonia a tad there…

Not sure they’ll be on a high after getting knocked out like.

Hometown bias is a funny thing. Depending which way someone’s arguing they’re convinced it goes a certain way. Yet someone arguing against that will be convinced it goes the other way. Anyway, it’s not revisionism to say that maybe bar his debut against Villa, Tonali’s performances in the ‘eight’, for want of a better word, were nowhere near the majestic level he’s shown since dropping further back. And the team has benefited accordingly.

Tbf, I don’t think anyone thought that Longstaff was a better, or close to being a better player, than Tonali. They just pointed out that the team seemed to function better with Longstaff in it. It was the positional change that made all the difference. He’s now not playing in Longstaff’s ’position’, even if he has taken his place in the team.
