Doesn’t work like that. All of the players under 21 go onto a ‘List B’ and don’t contribute to the homegrown requirements of ‘List A’. But to be honest, it’s not a must that you comply, all that happens is your squad allowance is reduced by the number of HG players you fail to comply by. So the absolute worst case scenario is that we would only be allowed a 21 man squad instead of a 25 man squad (although in reality it would be a 21 man squad plus Miley and all the other kids). edit - I think Lewis Hall would still be on List B for next season.

Isak’s plays the first hour and gets a hat-trick then comes off for Wilson. Osula comes on RW to give Murphy a rest after his 3 assists and 27% pass completion rate.

After seeing Eddie’s presser yesterday, I reckon it’s happening.
-
Very true, but we paid high end prices for them (well, not really Bruno), and even though they’ve proven more than worthy of those, we can’t really be shopping in that market more than very occasionally.
-
Nice of him to include the one bit of defending that did for Pope’s shoulder 😂
-
I don’t think anyone’s against shopping in other markets, as you say it’s probably becoming, at least partly, a necessity. But it seems to me a mixed approach to where you recruit from is always best in the long run. Quansah has played for England at every single age group and just made the full squad. That’s exactly the type of player profile that Eddie has excelled in taking to the next level.

If he’s a main target, that’s been tracked for a while, it’s absolutely irrelevant IMO. If it were more of a stop-gap signing, then perhaps there’s an argument.
-
Small time thinking. If it’s a player we want, the selling club is irrelevant.
-
Right at the end of his presser: Journo: “So in terms of new contract announcements, you wouldn’t expect anything more before the end of the season?” Eddie (with big smile and a glint in his eye): “who knows”

And four of the five before that to the other side. As I say, I think it’s just based on watching the keeper. Very difficult to save tbh.
-
There’s a video of all his pens. Tbf, it might be that all his pens this season have been to the same side as Wednesday night, as I counted 4 of his first 5 to the keepers right. Although, he does the watch the keeper thing, so I actually think the side he goes is probably dependent on the keeper making a move.

Whilst wearing shades. In the dark.
-
He had a decent game there at home to Man City. Granted, this game won’t be a remotely similar type of game.
-
It’s a 6-4 split over which side he’s gone with his 10 PL pens.
-
Don’t really care about Leicester either way, but that thread is quite a sad read tbh.
-
Score early and this surely has the potential to get canny toxic for them. @HaydnNUFC how do your Leicester mates feel? Anger or apathy?

Back as No.1 for Leeds due to Meslier being shite: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13341273/leeds-illan-meslier-dropped-for-saturdays-trip-to-luton-after-latest-high-profile-errors

365 keep offering him a big odds to score from outside the box. Was 22/1 last night. Probably be a bit shorter here given how shite Leicester are.
-
Granted, that was a very, very good goal, but his overall performance that day was pretty poor, given the opposition.
-
Maybe. Although for all they’ve done that pretty much the whole way through the tournament, might be a bit different once you hit the semis. Having said that, if it’s nip and tuck with us for CL, they probably will prioritise our game.
-
Absolute bollocks ko time from a fans pov, but Chelsea will be playing away in the second leg of the Conference semi on the Thursday night, so pretty short turnaround time for them.

A friend of a friend of a friend, spent some time around the Liverpool squad (can’t remember what for now). He apparently said they were all sound, apart from Elliot who was a massive dickhead. *I have no way of verifying this

Wilson is currently a better CF than Osula. That’s why Eddie plays him over him. Hopefully with another pre-season (and maybe a few less e-numbers) Osula may piece together the raw attributes he clearly has, into actually being a viable option as CF.
