  1. Ah, that actually makes more sense as the postage is not per ticket, just per transaction. So I retract my previous accusations on this. Love to know what service we’re getting for our £1.90 like.
  2. Well alright then, it needs further tiers underneath that.
  3. Surprisingly until the disaster against Bournemouth our recent record in the 12:30 Saturday ko was excellent. Not sure about early on Sunday like?
  4. Well both home and away ballots really. Alright, the away ballots are only for ST holders with fewer points. But my main point is the whole argument for bringing in home ballots was people complaining that they couldn’t be available at a certain time when the sale went live, and the club decided that was fair enough and introduced the ballots. You’d get the similar type arguments if they introduced something like what it seems Chelsea do, ‘I can’t get into home games cos I haven’t got the time for resale, so I can’t get any points’. I’ll point out that I’m not advocating this argument, just saying that the club have listened to it already. Having said all that, I agree there needs to be some form of tiered membership, however that comes about. And given it’ll be impossible to come up with a ‘fair’ system for everyone, maybe they do need to just decide on a method and upset some people.
  5. They listened to that argument enough to bring the ballots in…
  6. The question I’d have is how do you start it off? I’m guessing it’s something like ‘these members have been to X home games so that makes them eligible for this away game’? The complaints you’ll get with that, is people saying ‘well I can’t get to home games, cos I can’t win a ballot’. You and others will point out (with plenty of justification) that you have to invest the time in the resale to get the home tickets. But you’re just going to end up with the same complaints that we had pre-ballot, where people say ‘I’m not free at X time to join a queue, so what am I supposed to do?’.
  7. Is this the Italian version of backshift at Nissan?
  8. Whatever the rights and wrongs of the criteria, and fwiw as a ST holder I do think some members have been shafted this time, it does show the club pretty much can’t win when demand is outstripping supply so ferociously. As you say, there was a fair bit of whinging last time from some ST holders about some members getting access ahead of them. Now you’ve got members whinging cos that’s been reversed. Fans have a right to whinge if they feel they’ve been hard done to mind, but somebody is probably always going to feel hard done to, so we just go round in this circle until we reach a point where demand doesn’t exceed supply.

    The Other 18

Yeah. That’s what a combination of good genetics and clean living will get you.
  10. @Heron was there any chat/thoughts amongst Wor Flags regarding the Man City display before the Madrid game? Unnecessary?
  11. I think that is referring to ‘if you get a ticket transferred to you for every round, that won’t make you eligible for the final’. Appreciate how a ST holder who was doing the transfer could see it differently like.
  12. The queue went down quicker than the initial estimates yesterday fwiw
  13. So you have to go to away games to be eligible for a ST?
  14. Not sure there’ll be an outright replacement for Trafalgar? Both the Trust and the Supporters Club seem to be putting events on, and I reckon loads will just gather around the pubs of Covent Garden, Leicester Sq, Kings Cross.

Imagine if Boro or Coventry do them in the playoffs 😬
  16. Cue a teacher appearing to tell you ‘they aren’t holidays for us, we’re working during them’ in 5,4,3…..
  17. “The problem is the legislation is weak and we’ve been telling this Government and the last one it needs amended,” he said. “At the moment the offence is a summary one, not an indictable one, so you get summoned to court and get a slap on the wrist. There’s a simple solution: make the offence indictable and then you need [to] make the legislation supranational so it’s an offence anywhere in the world and you prevent a situation where a website can be set up in Spain and tickets are bounced there, circumnavigating the existing laws.” 👆100% the only way to significantly reduce touting (well, bar onerous ID-checking, which no-one really wants to see).
  18. Should each just play Isak in alternate games.
  19. Aye, it’s 17-0 in the last 6 games there. However, we do have a player that’s scored for us there
