    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Ask him about plane trail dispersals and see what he says.
  2. ā€œWould you like to come and join the next players strike, days before our next major tournament?ā€
  3. Don’t think it was possible unless you had your own records.
  4. He’s definitely got a hairdresser rather a barber.
  5. Leicester were guilty. We don’t yet know if Man City are.
  6. Chelsea are a massive anomaly when it comes to sacking managers. They are about the only club who have done it regularly and managed to keep (relative) sustained success. Maybe you could argue Madrid too. Which indicates that being able to spend seemingly endless amounts on players, is actually the key factor.

    Tino Livramento

Hope absolutely buzzes over his emoji use like.
  8. Could see him going to a slower-paced league in Europe and having another 3-4 years at a high level.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I classify it more as the club’s error. I very much doubt the managers of those clubs you list are personally identifying these types of players, and saying ā€˜buy these’. Have we, as a club, identified these players, and presented them to Eddie as viable options? None of us really know the answer to this, but I’d be of the opinion that the constant churn in senior positions, has probably meant we haven’t had the kind of coherent strategy that you need in order to adopt this policy.
  10. Got to be some kind of performance-related termination clause in that, surely? Todd and Co. have made some odd decisions in their time but if they’ve genuinely committed to LinkedIn Liam for 6 years, that is as bizarre as it is reckless.
  11. LinkedIn Liam’s post-match presser. For once he actually comes across OK. Just shows how much better it is to engage people with normal, honest conversation, rather than ridiculous psycho-babble. https://youtu.be/zy4G-Ep8oI0?si=hheG8sO0zXCG5u6I
  12. They’ve got 4 of the top 5 earners in the Champ.
  13. Whilst it’s obviously a contributory factor to their fall, there’s absolutely no way they should be where they are. They’ve got the highest wage bill in the Champ by a distance, so to find themselves relegated is complete mismanagement, and reflects terribly on their current set of players.
  14. Hull Double Chance 8/11 at Leicester tonight. Appreciate Leicester are fucked if they don’t win, but 8/11 for a bet that’s landed in 16 of Leicester’s last 17 league games…
  15. After a (very) quick swizz on NUFC.com, and including Welbeck (84) and Thiago (83) in the figures, I make it 9 late goals that have changed the result (negatively) of a PL match this season. Too many, far, far too many really, but still only 9 out of 33.
  16. I agree there’s more chance of that (if still not inevitable) as, without being arsed to look at the numbers, that feels like it’s happened more frequently than conceding late.
  17. But if something doesn’t happen more often than it does, surely it can’t be ā€œquite likelyā€? *obviously we both know it’s not that clear cut and there’s obviously other factors in play.
  18. Better to be wanking over the memory of your sordid tryst with Michelle Collins, than doing it watching a repeat of Eastenders.
  19. I know it feels it, but it’s not inevitable is it? We’ve played a lot more games this season where we haven’t conceded at 85+, than games where we have. Doing it three games in a row has just (understandably) distorted everyone’s feelings.
  20. If Sullivan and Gold were the dildo brothers…
  21. I know there’s obvious (and somewhat deserved) negativity around at the moment but the last three league games we’ve lost, we haven’t actually been behind at the 85 min mark. Yes, games last 90+ mins etc, and everything team can say if we’d just done X, Y and Z to justify poor performance, but if you’re a poor team that has no chance of getting any points, you’re not still constantly in the game at 85 mins.
