Yeah. Player wants to come. Palace are at the very least open to selling given how long they’ve been discussing it.

Agreed. Seems like the manager is going to go back after today and say ‘look, we need to get this all sorted out’. Will Parish swallow his pride?

Not really. If you’re trying to adopt a hardline stance of ‘we’re not selling unless you meet our valuation’, not playing the player in question is a sure fire way of undermining it.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

“Terrible LB” is ridiculously harsh mind. He had a poor run for a period last season (probably partly due to pushing himself to come back early from a broken back…) but he played LB for the majority of the season before when we had the best defensive record in the league. Agree his best position is CB though, and wouldn’t expect to see him getting too many games at LB ahead of Hall or Kelly now.
  6. Anybody listened to this? Any better than the rest of the dross out there? https://x.com/strawberry_nufc/status/1826960728676577574?s=46&t=OQLMckSuatbpqWF13Al4mQ

Wouldn’t get in there for us ahead of Schar.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I’d be extending Burn, if only for a year.
  13. Him and Dyche are proper tight though. Sure Dyche said something along the lines of him being his favourite ever player.
  14. Not necessarily, but he’s not daft. He’ll be able to see what’s coming.
  15. He’s big mates with Dyche isn’t he? And Pickford.
  16. Don’t think he was that bad. Seemed to do OK, but no better. Obviously injuries ruined it ultimately.

It is, but it somehow feels more because every step of the negotiations has played out in public, so it’s created the perception that we’re stretching ourselves to meet (hopefully) whatever the final price is. If we didn’t know about all the bids/negotiations and we just heard ‘X price agreed’, I reckon we’d feel less concerned about it.

I think a lot of people probably feel like this due to the ‘saga’ nature of how it’s played out. Had it just came out as ‘done’ in the way Isak kinda did, people would be a lot more excited, regardless of price.
