Worst visiting goalkeeping performance in living memory? -
Looking forward to everyone defending like penguins from now on...
-
They reckon there might be somewhere between 15 - 20k Rennes fans heading over for it, so seeing as they’ve only been given 8k tickets you might have to have previous buying history or something to get a home ticket, given the bother they with Cologne (?) earlier in the season.

Anybody go last season? Doesn't seem like there's much in the way of pubs near the ground, so i'm thinking of just drinking centrally and heading straight in once off the tube? -
Very true. Although even though he's not making the squad I still reckon he's first choice for that central position in the back three if something were to happen to Lascelles.

Newcastle United vs Burnley - Tue 26/02/19 - 20:00 - Live on BT Sport

Longstaff looks the type of physique that could play every day of the week and twice on a Sunday tbh. -
Except Rafa....
-
So our ko times against Brighton since they moved stadium have been: Sat 5:15pm Sat 12:30pm Tues 7:45pm Sun 4:00pm Sat 5:30pm Good job it's not far...

Every time the official account tweets about the ref for an upcoming game, you immediately see a load of responses along the lines of "that's us playing against 12", "pen for them and red card for us", "another sh*te ref". Completely regardless of who the ref actually is.

Fulham play Friday as well. Anything could happen with West Ham, so that's an 'interesting' one as well.
-
Nee way he's passed his DBS mind...
-
Just when they work and it effects the game i.e this one won a penalty.
-
Must agree, they are horrendous to rely on mind, them and Leicester I think that most people would have the same opinion, me included, yet I suspect the facts probably don't back that up. After all, they have a poor record against the other 'big' teams, so they must be beating someone...
-
I think the headline was sort of intended to mean"give him a break", as in 'lay off the criticism of him', but it hasn't really come across like that.
-
Losing the play-off final at Wembo on pens after a 1-1 draw.
-
Sterry is at Crewe on loan now mate. And, in all honesty, that's about his level.
-
Mint. Diving head tackles and everything.
-
Yet not to the extent Man City’s was....
-
To be fair it would be good business. It would just be maintaining status quo. Meaning we'd be in exactly the same position come the end of next season.
-
Yes, so we can't loan anyone from Chelsea (unless we sacked Kenedy off).
-
He must be going to sign another year's extension to his current contract with them, like he did before this season. Crazy way to be on.
-
Salomon Robson ffs Another loan extension? Let down if so. He's only got 1 year left on his contract after this season, so presumably he'd have to sign an extension (again) if that were the case?
-
Hopefully a positive sign regarding Rafa, if he's persuaded them to do this.
-
Possibly when we beat Liverpool at home under McClaren? If memory serves we'd lost 1-5 at Palace the game before and they'd absolutely battered Southampton(?) in the cup midweek. A quick look back at the pre-match thread suggests expectations weren't very high  https://www.newcastle-online.org/forum/index.php?topic=97375.0

I reckon Fulham will stay up At the expense of? (And assuming Huddersfield and Cardiff are the bottom two)
