I don't tend to believe the rumours. Several of our signings under Eddie were pretty much done before the media had wind of them.
-
It's supposed to be the elite level. It's incompetence every single week, and the effect it has on the match going experience is huge. I expect something to be done about it now mind because it's Liverpool
-
First game back for weeks and he bullied several of those City players. Kalvin Phillips didn't know what him .
-
Seen Cafu play live , after that Trippier's the best I've seen .
-
Just tremendous today and even managed to avoid a yellow. Can't wait to see Gordon 2.0 link with Joelinton and Willock once their fully fit. Needs to be rested midweek now though
-
It's not, he's got the running and the graft to link defensive midfield to attacking midfield .

Any chance bdb can find another black and white shirt with a pass ?

You know its a bad day when Trippier is playing it to opposition players in our own area. FFS!! -

Got to learn from other teams. Look at Liverpool last week ,as badly as we've played we're only a goal down. Right changes and attitude we can get something -

Very poor . Trying to be positive in that Brighton's goal came from our mistakes. Midfield needs to be changed either personnel wise lr tactically. Miggy's also been absolutely anonymous. -

Missing the Willock/Joelinton combinations off the left. Also Willock will quite often drive forward out of midfield at pace with the ball. He's superb for when we're trying to counter -

Tonali and Guimares seem to be alternating who is playing the deep lying midfielder but quite often neither is sure exactly who's turn it is to sit and who's supposed make the advanced move. -

Why do keep playing high balls up to Isak ? That's not his game -
Great analogy .. I made a similar one to a pal, only used Mayweather.

Hoping for a big performance and reaction against Liverpool.
-
Bruno's done Foden there like
-
Brave of Howe giving Anderson a run in the midfield based on what we've seen so far
-
England have to play Foden in this role in future. He looks World class here
-
Is every Newcastle United foul now a yellow
-
Said it before , so often Gordon's first touch takes him away from the space on the flank and into the traffic inside.
-
We haven't played anywhere near the levels we can. City have been absolutely brilliant. Foden dropping off and running it in the space between midfield and defence. 1-0 down at half time isn't awful by any stretch but lets at least show what we can do second half. Great opportunity to test ourselves here.
-
We're too respectful of City the night. Want the players up and firing at City . Also when we're on the ball out passing and touch hasn't been good enough. A loose touch here and you're not seeing the ball for minutes on end.
