Isak's one of the best onto a through ball strikers in Europe. Yet we're repeatedly hoofing it up or making the poor fucker come help out the shite midfield -

We'd have been lucky to get away with 0-0 at half time. Instead we're a goal up and hopefully Eddie and Mad Dog can sort this shite out in the interval -

How many crosses from Fulham have come in from Dan Burns position ? Remember when he used to sit in and look solid? He's getting too far forward and is being done for pace and position time and again. -

He's had a shocker of a game and the lad goes and scores. Must slate the rest of our players and we'll be 10 up by halftime -

Never seen Longstaff have a good game when he's on the left side of the midfield three. -

I've been very supportive of the players and staff but they've had two weeks to prepare for this game and we're absolutely shocking. This is simply not good enough and we're really lucky not to be a goal or two down here. -

We've been awful so far. Midfield wide open. Bruno not on it at all yet , longstaff nowhere near a fulham player, Miley's been the pick of the three. Schar already booked and looks a yard off the pace and it's back to the Dan Burn of 4 weeks or so ago. Isak and Gordon look sharp enough and Murphy looks game but our midfield is awful. -

Could well be too soon for Alonso. Liverpool are going to need a major rebuild as key figures such as Salah, Van Dijk are the wrong side of 30 . Robertson is injury prone and 29, and several other squad members are in their 30's (Thiago, Matip, Endo). Klopp started the rebuild of the midfield but Alonso favours a more patient style of play. Also Salah (well his agent)has repeatedly been in dispute with the club behind the scenes over wanting a larger share of the money coming in commercially from the middle east so he could be looking at this summer as the perfect time for pastures new. -
There's not many players like him in the game. I don't want to lose him and think we'd much poorer without him .
-
Ah lets fuck it off then . Why try ? What's the point ? This is clearly the lowest point of our history. Let's tell the players not to bother training in future, don't arse yourselves in games lads either. You never know with a bit of luck we can get relegated and be the biggest club in the division below. Then hopefully Ashley can take us back over and we can all rejoice in signings like Shefki Kuqi and Leon Best.
-
"It's been a disaster of a season", really ? We were a dodgy call away from the next phase of the Champions League. We've had a poor run, largely due to injuries but to say it's been a "disaster of a season" and "we'll never get there" seem ridiculous statements especially as we're top 10 and still have good chance of qualifying for Europe and are in the FA cup. We've shown we can compete with any team. Yes, the club , manager and the players have to learn and adapt as we look to evolve but the future's bright man.

Trippier has been incredible for us barring those dips in form a few games ago. Instinctively when I first saw this i was like "ffs NO !!" and if you'd ran this past me last summer I'd have been completely against it. That being said , if the club wanted to move him on at a good fee and Eddie felt it was an opportunity to change the way we play for the better, I'd be in favour of it. It's odd, after all the misery of the Ashley years I'm still getting used to trusting the club to do the right thing.

We were beaten by the better squad on the night, but another great effort by the lads we can have no complaints. De Bruyne showing the difference in class between himself and Foden. We need a number 6 midfielder who can hold that that space between the flat midfield and the back four.
-
From a FFP point of view they're great options to sell. If we want to be in Europe though we have things like home grown and domestic quotas to think of. I'd fuming if Bruno, either Joe or Isak were sold unless it's for ridiculous money. £150 million plus. With Joelinton I don't think there's a midfielder with his physicality in world football.

Barton's absolute scum, I've filed him in the professional hatefully objectionable wankers who just say whatever poisonous thing that will give them the most press coverage or social media exposure. They should never be mentioned or discussed again . Denying him the exposure he craves as he builds his hateful gobshite brand. My last post on this waste of sperm and egg.

Eddie Howe has been brilliant. We're undergoing a difficult run of form and it's shown up some of his mistakes. Mainly issues regarding substitutions, player rotation and the main one for me that im seeing a lot of that never used to be a problem is game management/control of matches. Im still confident he'll address it and im also confident we'll smash thr mackems and be smiling come the end of the season . Howay The Lads !!!
-
Absolutely awful defending here. Forest have just played the breaks with pace and Wood has been incredible with his finishing. Big half hr needed here . Howay the lads
-
He's been poor the day . Getting done for pace again and again. Eddie should have changed him at half time

We've seen nothing but excellent decisions from the owners and the board regarding football matters. There hasn't been the slightest suggestion that they are anything but 100% behind Howe and the staff. The talk of the likes of Mourinho being lined up as a replacement is entirely press generated by journalists with no track record of being close to those who are in a position to make that decision. Howe's made some mistakes this season, and we've had a bad performance the day but we've also had some desperately unlucky moments in huge games. We'll get past this, we've a brilliant manager who has worked wonders in such a short time that some people are losing their sense of balance. Support the team and the people who've already brought us some magical moments. This is the time to be United. Howay The Lads !!
-
As poor a performance as ive seen under Howe this. We've looked absolutely knackered and the confidence looks shot. Occasionally when we manage to play a bit of football we look like we can get in but we just don't seem able to sustain passages of play. Screaming out for subs for us to try and bring some freshness and legs to the side.
-
Cant fault the effort, football can be so cruel and we've been punished the night. Love Joelinton and his performance tonight was incredible. Think the change of Burn coming in seemed to disrupt our defence rather than stabilise it. Thanks for the memories lads. Did so well to get here and were screwed by a shite decision and that made tonight shit or bust. The outcome somehow seems typical Newcastle. Proud of the team nonetheless. Howay the lads !!!
