So if he gets a years ban will he still pick up his £6m a year wage?
-
At first his wage here was quoted to be 210k a week, but that was later ammended to 120k. He was on about 70/80k at Milan. Not sure why he would leave his boyhood club to come here for that sort of increase, it seems Milan got shot whilst they still had the chance to cash in before all this came out. Apart from his debut vs Villa he's played like someone carrying a weight on his shoulders.
-
Absolutely no chance Milan didn't know about this. We've been well and truely done here, whether we have any come back is another matter.
-
90/91 was awful like. We started fairly well but fell away and by new year we were mid table with no chance of promotion or relegation. I think we drew 3 or 4 home games in a row 0-0.
-
Will be like a new signing when he gets back from his betting ban. Oh, wait a minute......
-
I think he'll be off, as with no fee being involved he could be offered the same wages elsewhere and be a starter.
-
I think it's only the second time we've scored more than five away in the league for nearly 60 years, the other being the 6-0 at QPR in 2016. In fact, when we beat Barnsley 6-0 at home in 1993 it was the first time we had scored more than five in ANY league game since the 1960's.

It's a pity Targett has gone off a cliff since his injury, Hall is too raw imo.
-
Ooooffff...... You could have done that in one post though.
-
I must eat humble pie. It was £210k, I'm guessing they got the 1 and 2 the wrong way round and eventually corrected it. My apologies to all concerned.....
-
Ok then, give me links to sites that say his wage is lower or on par with Bruno. I won't hold my breath. The days of top class players being happy with c. £100k a week are long gone.

On the Capology website. Not gospel obviously but they seem to have most of the top players wages about right, althougth I hope Targett isn't on the £100k a week they quote!
-
No chance. I can't recall the exact figure but it was in the region of £80-100k a week. No way he was coming here for "just" an extra £20-40k.
-
Widely reported that he's on £210k a week. He was on more or less £120k at Milan.
-
I wonder how much he'll be on with this new contarct? He would want parity with Tonali I'd imagine (£210k a week).
-
That's the widely reported figure and 90k more than the next best paid (Bruno/Trippier/Isak).
-
The fact that Tonali is on almost 100k a week more than him might have something to do with it.....
-
Him left and Gordon right for Brentford please.
-
City always play at least one DM.
-
Which brings us back to the point we have no decent defensive midfielders on our books.
-
They have the quality to play any formation they want. Their second XI is capable of beating any team in the league.
-
Yes, but that formation is about as fashionable as flares now.
