  1. I'd have them both in over some of the shite in that England midfield.
  2. I think we do though. He’s just criminally misused and out of form. Almiron does everything at 100mph, just like the rest of the team. It's all incredibly frantic. Grealish knows when to change the tempo Yep, coached better and more experience in the country. I'm not sure it's coaching and experience. I think they've very different in their approach to the game. Even if both on form, I don't think they'd be all that comparable. Almiron relies on athleticism and desire to get and create changes, whereas Grealish is much more calculated, drawing players in and playing intricate passes. He's very good. As is Almiron, just not at present unfortunately.
  3. Both points absolutely true. Particularly the first. lestalkabowfax (regarding the second point, I think we have players on his level in terms of intelligence & quality, but sadly not in his position)
  4. As much as they deserve the win, Villa have had every speculative decision, deflection, bounce of the ball go their way tonight like. One of those.
  5. Quite surprised at how terrible we've been offensively today after things looked like they were starting to click.
  6. Would agree but the standard of defending has been punished and you can’t argue with that. True. I still feel like there's a way back into this for us, providing our tactics and application change. The defending hasn't been too bad, it's just two moments of stupidity. Frustrating.
  7. 2-0 flatters Villa. For all their possession they've not really created anything. We've gifted them two goals from stupid, uncharacteristic errors. I still feel a goal for us early in the second half can see us come back into the game. We've made it too easy for them thus far.
  8. If we score first we'll win. If they score first, we'll also win. If nobody scores I think it might be a draw. If Wesley scores, he and his son will enjoy their 23rd Birthday tomorrow.
  9. I like Grealish but hopefully he's anonymous tonight despite the pre-game hype. Besides, Saint-Allan >>>>> Grealish.
  10. They were fine against Bournemouth. True. I do know what you mean though - on the face of it, it's probably our weakest three, however, recent performances have given us no reason to not have complete confidence in all of them.
  11. It may be 2-3, but the truth is still out there...
  12. They could have Ballack and Pirlo - it still wouldn't be enough to combat the genius footballing mind of Chris Wilder - the greatest manager on the planet. Chris Wilder is the man for sure Please Kaka, show some respect - he is a celestial being.

  14. To say Spurs will be lucky to replace him with anyone on his level would be a massive understatement. Certain Pochettino will go to a huge club and do great things. Class manager. Nagelsmann of Hoffenheim/Leipzig would be their best fit imo. Was an air of magic about Spurs under Poch at times like, shame but which manager lasts longer than 5 years these days?
  15. I think this one of my favourite football related things ever. I doubt I'll ever love a player as much as him - the fact I had the pleasure of watching him live for a few (of his best) seasons makes the mire we've fallen into since worth it.
