  1. Seen his record for his country? The team that actually plays him regularly? Clinical, aye.
  2. Arsenal are playing this perfectly. Eriksen having to drop between the centre backs to get a touch, and then hitting a long ball when he does which Mustafi will clean up all day long. Perfect showing from Wenger like.
  3. Looked to me like he was playing in centre mid despite them having Winks on the bench. Sissoko at CM was a disaster for us, and I can't imagine that being any different in a Spurs shirt. Not his position as much as he would like it to be.
  4. Fans are largely really respectful to one another outside of grounds anyway. Other than Villa/Sunderland coming to SJP, I've seen away fans from all clubs roam freely round Newcastle on a match day and get nothing but respect.
  5. It's one of them things in football you can't fully understand unless you're in training day in/day out. To anyone from the outside looking in, Mitrovic is clearly the in-form and most dangerous, clinical and natural striker we have to play this system. Yet if rumours are to be believed he doesn't even travel with the squad today. He will be moved on soon and do very, very well for the club that takes him.
  6. Juve have Dybala and Higuain not to mentioned Mandzukic. He wouldn't play a minute for them.
  7. Oh yes. Wanted Arsenal to win this. Spurs over-confident.
  8. Bloody class header that like. Brilliant
  9. Could be. But both sides are playing back 5's effectively. Would have been better if it was a more open game. Could just as easily finish 0-0 as it could be a cracker. Arsenal have started well mind.
  10. I think very much the opposite, I think we'll be much improved from our last two games. Whether that's enough to get something will depend on which Man Utd team turn up.
  11. Not too concerned by Lukaku like, never rated him as a player as much as others do. He only seems to score from close range tap-ins and we're good at limiting teams to long range efforts. Pogba/Ibra would be the ones to look out for in that instance.
  12. I dunno like, as an individual I've seen Ben Arfa do things Mahrez could only dream of. They're similar players in the sense they run at teams and cut in the from the right, but at his best, Ben Arfa is a far stronger, more explosive & more skillful player and it makes him a cut above imo. Mahrez may be a better team player but that's about it for me. Can't say I watch Leicester every week mind.
  13. I think he's more than proved he's a good player. Just hasn't been his year.
  14. He's better than Mahrez imo, would do well there I reckon.
  15. Keep Shola's owld house standing though. Can be made into a museum. The Magical Mackem Slayer's Mystery Tour. Maybe it can have an exhibition of hats. "A luv wearin hats, yav got different shapes and sizes of hats I luv wearin" http://i68.tinypic.com/dbnz2a.png
  16. I'd probably be pleased with Shaw tbh, but there'll be other left backs out there for similar money, Chelsea's Baba Rahman for example, currently on loan at Schalke.
  17. A one that is not Ray Hudson, so not a very good one really.
  18. Love all the African kits. Especially Egypt, just lovely.
  19. That's bollocks that tbh. Even if it was the case (which it isn't), at least he's actually been good in games for us. He's a far more dangerous player than Murphy who's shitting himself against the likes of Swansea, Burnley and Bournemouth. What the f*** would he be like against Man Utd? Get a player on the pitch who actually has the stones to do something 'cos Christ we f***ing need it. It's not bollocks like, it's perfectly reasonable. You have got your own opinion and I respect it, although I disagree I think Murphy will be dangerous given time, and I actually think he has more potential than Aarons from what I've seen of the two play.
  20. Murphy over Aarons for me. Needs a chance now otherwise it may never come. Nothing wrong with Aaron's like and should be at least on the bench, but people perhaps overrate him slightly and forget he has been equally poor in games as he has been good. Still has a lot of work to do, but given one of them has just moved to us for over £10m, I think it's safe to say he needs to be playing games.
  21. Good chance for Murphy to finally start some games. Can't be judged on his performances up until now. Few starts under his belt is much needed.
  22. Yep. Optimistic Nut pointed out we got draws there in both of our relegation seasons. Both 0-0 I believe. Didn’t we also get a 0-0 there in our first season back in 2010? Edit: It was 1-1 in our first relegation season, we lost our first trip back since relegation but drew the next one, 1-1. Danny Simpson/Tim Krul heroics iirc.
