I think he is exactly what we need at this time, young, smart, a good communicator and no massive expectations on his shoulders because he has won trophies in other countries or this. The added bonus will be that he is well liked in the media and football circles by both those who can think for themselves and the sky sports PFM dinosaurs, this should take a bit of heat off the club and give him a bit of an easier ride in the media

Really coming around to the idea of Howe now, not a massive ego so less likely to throw his toys out of the pram, oversaw the development of Bournemouth through the leagues so will have some idea of building an infrastructure and facilities etc which he can have an input in. Clearly an intelligent guy who seems to communicate well which is what it seems modern footballers need instead of the "let's play" PFM bullshit. Yes we might not get the Messi's etc in January but that is not what we need right now but I am sure he could attract players like Ramsey and linguard easily enough and this is what we need at this stage, good with the youth players by all accounts as well. We might not get the instant couple of wins that we need straight away but I would be confident that he would have us in a good position with plenty of the season to spare, I also think he would see straight through the likes of shelvey etc and peddle them at the first opportunity.

We are so far behind it is unreal, how can a shitty little club in London afford that especially with what are probably sky high land prices down then and we have a few outdoor pitches and paddling pools, it just shows how much work the new owners have to do and how much Ashley has put this club back.
