My great grandad played for Coventry and Bristol city but got shot in the hip in WW1 and played non league after. My grandad was a great amateur cricketer. My fatha played football, Rugby, hockey, cricket and boxed for the Royal Marines and declined a contract offer from spurs as a keeper in the early 60’s. Both my nephews are professional sportsmen, one of them about as well known and well regarded in his sport as it’s possible to be. I couldn’t find my own arse in the bath. -
That’s the fella.

Ferguson snagging an aging sheringham was a master stroke. Same as that Swedish lad with the dredds who played for Celtic he got for a season or so. Name escapes me. Cavani recently not so good but there’s some virtue in experienced goal scorers who can do a job for a few months though. not mitro mind. He’s a plank in his prime.

The competition formerly known as under 21’s.

We’ve had problems with injuries for as long as I can remember. Not that I paid much attention to it in the 70’s and 80’s but I recall theories about the climate and the state of training pitches being bandied about 20 years ago as explanations for the amount of soft tissue injuries we were getting.

I don’t want to jinx this but how fucking funny would it be if our reserves beat them? -

Can we stop pissing and moaning now then? -
The injuries are a pain in the arse but the upside is that some of the new signings and young lads will get more experience. I didn’t particularly expect us to get to the next stage of the champions league and I wasn’t expecting top four again so I reckons in the long term this will help with consistency through the squad.

There’s a vibe about this season. There’s a certain romance. I’m smelling something in the air…

I’d sooner take her word for it rather than the show a bit of chest hair, insincere two handed handshake interested in the family while eyeing up the young nurses bellend I am talking about.

One of the directors of a company I worked for told me that Ashley is a great bloke to work for. Mind he was a cunt too and I nigh throat punched him but I had bills to pay.

Firstly I didn’t say his IQ was below 80. I was engaging in a bit of hyperbole for comedic purposes. And I don’t think being an ‘addict’ explains him betting on football when there are so many other ways to feed his ‘addiction.’
