  1. This is really interesting - a sign of what could have been, or what could be?
  2. Tell me, in what Delusional Planet do you live? Are you a real person? I fucking hate wind up merchants.......
  3. To be fair??? Why the fuck should any-one be fair to an areshole like Bruce??? Or are you making excuses for a shite performance against a poor team? Is it the fault of the players or the manager? Who trains, motivates, pushes the players? Oh, our useless idiot of a dinosaur manger. Fair to him? Never in my lifetime will I be fair to him.
  4. Yup, I've been saying it ever since he arrived, but you are 100% bang on. Glory, glory days indeed!!!
  5. Is 'Come on guys, give it a go' a real quote from our leader? Seriously?? Have we gone back to the 1960's???? I despair. There are people in the real world who support him?
  6. This message from our beloved and inspirational manager makes me so confident about our future in his capable hands. I so look forward to the day - hopefully pretty soon - when I can watch us terrorising leading Premiership teams. Please tell me in what alternative world this will happen?
  7. Cost us a goal against Everton. The ref cost us the game. It was nice to have our fans supporting the team for a change instead of the usual negativity. We are approaching the transfer window and an opportunity to ship out some of our players who are of no use and just a drain on the finances and replace with one or two who could have big value for the remainder of the season and beyond. I'm quetly confident we can bring in 1 or 2 quality players although it'll no doubt be on the 31st of January if we do. If this happens Bruce should have a squad even he is capable of getting enough points with for the remainder of the season. Enough to get the crowd going for at least 5 mins per game in between the groans. 'The ref cost us the game'. Let me think.....could it have been more to do with our shit possession? Or the fact that our forwards haven't got a clue how to score a goal to save their lives? Or that the team is devoid of tactical awareness? 'Quietly confident'. Based on what? Our fierce-some reputation in the transfer market? Born optimist or just slightly on the deluded side of insane?
  8. Impressive that we've recruited 4 of the bottom 7! Guess who our next four managers are going to be???
  9. I despair. The line of least resistance has been broken and replaced by subordination. 'Accept Ashley'? 'Support Bruce'? The end of NUFC, as we knew and truly loved it, is here. With 50,000 supporters like you there is simply no point. I can only hope that one day - perhaps many years from now - you will experience the extraordinary joys and ecstasy of what a true owner and great manager can and will achieve. As I have done several times in my long and eventful life. Until then accept dross, because that is what you have just advocated. You deserve it.........
  10. Agree. That absolutely has to be the way forward in driving the bastard out. Lots and lots and lots of criticism. Business, personal, anything.....by the bucked load in every form of media known to man.
  11. Do we really need a vote on this? Does anyone actually believe that Bruce sets up better football? There really is no hope.....
  12. It is a shambles and we have so far failed to control ANY match. We are unlikely to do so either. So after 16 games with a grand total of 1 goal, how much longer do you give him? He's paid to score goals. He doesn't. He doesn't even look like he's likely to either.
  13. It's simple. We drop ASM (whose injured anyway) Joelinton as he couldn't score to save his life, Miggy as he's lost the plot. We then play any of our centre-backs up front.
  14. Interesting, particularly as Lascelles is out injured until January....Were you planning on playing Matt Ritchie as well?
  15. We don't know the real transfer value - allegedly £40 but who knows? There is something seriously, seriously smelly about it though. Joe was a second rate striker in the Bundeslega with a poor goal scoring record. Why would Mike Ashley - who hates paying anything - pay this sort of money?? Apparently Rafa felt he wasn't good enough and worth a fraction of what we paid for him. Joe is blatantly a poor striker. 1 goal in how many games? His performances are little short of shocking. Why Bruce perseveres with him is beyond credibility. So my questions are: What did we REALLY pay for him? How much of this did agents get? Did any of it find its way back to Ashley? This transfer smells, and very badly.....
  16. 40% possession. Good to know we're really going at them. Not. As usual....
  17. Close the curtains, lock the doors, switch off the lights........ ...there is no point any more.
  18. You are being way too logical my friend. Remember Bwucie doesn't think like us..........
  19. Our average home possession is 40% not 28.2%. https://footystats.org/clubs/england/newcastle-united-fc We have a difference of opinion...... https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/ballbesitz/wettbewerb/GB1
  20. Our home record shows an average of 28.2%, the lowest of any premier league club. Chelsea have 65.8%. Damn, we're just so good we don't even need the ball. What dross do we put up with?
  21. Sorry to hear this but I do understand. I'll miss your love of a real NUFC. I have often thought about doing the same as you are, but keep going in hope and knowing that there are true supporters out there who share my hope, and share my despair at what our once awesome club has become since that man bought us. I hope we will talk again in a better, Ashley free world.
  22. Let's just pretend it's true........ Oh, it's not! How stupid does this make him?????
  23. Yeah but dna of the club Everton mate reckons Hughes has been lined up should they bin off Silva. Please happen Could only be bettered if it was a Hughes-Moyes double act Oh yes, and Big Sam as Director of Football? What a triple act they would be!
  24. Get away man, a league cup win would be the best day of our lives following NUFC for most of us. Too much over sentimentalism. You cannot be serious???? KK gave me, and many of you who remember it, the most glorious football I have ever seen. It has taken me years to get over the loss to Man U, but nothing, nothing, will ever be better than the football we saw. I'm happy we came 2nd playing the way we did, than 1st playing the way Man U did. Seriously. By winning more games and scoring more goals? The simple answer is 'yes'. As a Man U fan, you've been used to almost a generation of success - title after title after cup after cup. We Geordies have had to put of with two generations of dross. Not a cup since the glory days of 1969. Relegation, dire football, barely surviving. The odd bits of hope - a league cup final, was it, in '75? Stuffed by Man City. Big Mac, Gazza a few rays of hope surrounded by desperation. And then we were within a whisker of going into Division 3 and almost certain obscurity. Then KK came and our world changed for the oh so much better. Do you have any idea what that man did to our football, our hope, our lives, our city? He made us literally live again. So, yes, I would rather have come second playing the football we did than come first playing your football, because I know, and pretty much everyone else does, that we played like flawed gods and I loved them for it.
