  1. It is a shambles and we have so far failed to control ANY match. We are unlikely to do so either. So after 16 games with a grand total of 1 goal, how much longer do you give him? He's paid to score goals. He doesn't. He doesn't even look like he's likely to either.
  2. It's simple. We drop ASM (whose injured anyway) Joelinton as he couldn't score to save his life, Miggy as he's lost the plot. We then play any of our centre-backs up front.
  3. Interesting, particularly as Lascelles is out injured until January....Were you planning on playing Matt Ritchie as well?
  4. We don't know the real transfer value - allegedly £40 but who knows? There is something seriously, seriously smelly about it though. Joe was a second rate striker in the Bundeslega with a poor goal scoring record. Why would Mike Ashley - who hates paying anything - pay this sort of money?? Apparently Rafa felt he wasn't good enough and worth a fraction of what we paid for him. Joe is blatantly a poor striker. 1 goal in how many games? His performances are little short of shocking. Why Bruce perseveres with him is beyond credibility. So my questions are: What did we REALLY pay for him? How much of this did agents get? Did any of it find its way back to Ashley? This transfer smells, and very badly.....
  5. 40% possession. Good to know we're really going at them. Not. As usual....
  6. Close the curtains, lock the doors, switch off the lights........ ...there is no point any more.
  7. You are being way too logical my friend. Remember Bwucie doesn't think like us..........
  8. Our average home possession is 40% not 28.2%. https://footystats.org/clubs/england/newcastle-united-fc We have a difference of opinion...... https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/ballbesitz/wettbewerb/GB1
  9. Our home record shows an average of 28.2%, the lowest of any premier league club. Chelsea have 65.8%. Damn, we're just so good we don't even need the ball. What dross do we put up with?
  10. Sorry to hear this but I do understand. I'll miss your love of a real NUFC. I have often thought about doing the same as you are, but keep going in hope and knowing that there are true supporters out there who share my hope, and share my despair at what our once awesome club has become since that man bought us. I hope we will talk again in a better, Ashley free world.
  11. Let's just pretend it's true........ Oh, it's not! How stupid does this make him?????
  12. Yeah but dna of the club Everton mate reckons Hughes has been lined up should they bin off Silva. Please happen Could only be bettered if it was a Hughes-Moyes double act Oh yes, and Big Sam as Director of Football? What a triple act they would be!
  13. Get away man, a league cup win would be the best day of our lives following NUFC for most of us. Too much over sentimentalism. You cannot be serious???? KK gave me, and many of you who remember it, the most glorious football I have ever seen. It has taken me years to get over the loss to Man U, but nothing, nothing, will ever be better than the football we saw. I'm happy we came 2nd playing the way we did, than 1st playing the way Man U did. Seriously. By winning more games and scoring more goals? The simple answer is 'yes'. As a Man U fan, you've been used to almost a generation of success - title after title after cup after cup. We Geordies have had to put of with two generations of dross. Not a cup since the glory days of 1969. Relegation, dire football, barely surviving. The odd bits of hope - a league cup final, was it, in '75? Stuffed by Man City. Big Mac, Gazza a few rays of hope surrounded by desperation. And then we were within a whisker of going into Division 3 and almost certain obscurity. Then KK came and our world changed for the oh so much better. Do you have any idea what that man did to our football, our hope, our lives, our city? He made us literally live again. So, yes, I would rather have come second playing the football we did than come first playing your football, because I know, and pretty much everyone else does, that we played like flawed gods and I loved them for it.
  14. Get away man, a league cup win would be the best day of our lives following NUFC for most of us. Too much over sentimentalism. Fuck off, 5 years of KK any day of the week man! 100% Agree

  16. https://www.transfermarkt.com/premier-league/ballbesitz/wettbewerb/GB1 Thought I'd post this to confirm my belief. 29% average possession. Wow! Clearly we're grinding teams into submission. Not.....
  17. What an awesome statistic - we're clearly hogging the ball!!!! 29% ???
  18. He then goes on to say 'Everything he has had to build, he has done so from the back, so they have to go back to front, but Newcastle's away record is good' What?? 16 Newcastle Utd 5 1 0 4 3 12 -9 17 Tottenham 5 0 2 3 6 11 -5 2 18 Watford 5 0 2 3 2 13 -11 2 19 Everton 5 0 1 4 3 9 -6 1 20 Norwich City 5 0 1 4 1 10 -9 Since when is that ' a good record' record in anyones book? 1 win, -9 goal difference. Good? What the fuck is bad????
  19. In reviewing the game against West Ham, Charlie Nicholas has said 'I think Steve Bruce has done a fantastic job at Newcastle.....' Jesus wept.........I cried and we all died. What utter and complete shite these 'pundits' speak.........
  20. Whatever we think of Liverpool as a club (and I always liked them as my second team) they do stick to their club, big time. The behaviour of our Chronic has been a total disgrace and they should know about it. Boycott it the way 'Pool did with the Sun.
  21. The simple solution is to ban them. Dropped from the Euro's, no home games for 12 months. Simple really. Except the spineless chiefs won't do it.
  22. Isn't it strange that under Rafa we had a team playing above themselves. Dubs was class last season and barely put a foot (or hand) wrong. This season he's make a number of mistakes - too many - but to say he's now a crap keeper is rubbish. He's a decent keeper playing under a crap manager who is incapable of lifting the performance of individuals. What and who was good last season is simply the pits this season. I wonder why???
  23. As what? Ball boy for Blyth Spartans?
  24. Bruce has no idea what he's doing at this (or any other) point either.
