It was abundantly clear Parish was mugging us off very early on and I can’t believe we genuinely fell for it. He was one of the loudest voices against our takeover. I bet he couldn’t believe his luck when he saw an opportunity to have our pants down. The club need to learn from this and get street wise sharpish.

The kid is 19 and is clearly still pretty raw. I genuinely think he'll grow into a quality fullback. However, he's clearly not going to be Roberto Carlos just yet.
