I’m seriously bored already of this discourse that Arsenal were absolutely amazing. They were decent but so were we. One took their chances and we didn’t. Howe seems to have a penchant for keeping average players in the side. Murphy came in and did a job but shouldn’t be starting every game going forward. We’ve all seen the issues with Burn the last month or so.

It’s definitely still rife in the NBA like. Some of the TF’s you seen given now are actually scandalous but the NBA would prefer to bury their head in the sand and claim it’s one rotten apple etc. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s happening in the Prem. VAR to me actually makes the game more susceptible to it.

The whole separation stuff that came from the Prem, to me was clearly just a viable excuse for them to pass the takeover once the piracy issue. Which was the real blocker ended up being resolved. Which is why i just roll my eyes every time the likes of Ziegler & Delaney start banging about the LI/PGA court thing like it's some sort of smoking gun. Imagine the court case if the Premier League tried to walk back the takeover. Would be absolute carnage.

That game Smith came on against West Brom when we were 3-1 up and we just capitulated. Genuinely one of the most pathetic performances I’ve seen and he was raking in 60k a week man.
