  1. Watched TNTs...er....."highlights" ? Highlights, for me, being the empty ground, the MLF you can hear shouting abuse above the silence when Huddersfield score the winner and Pritchard putting his hands on his hips and shouting "for fuck sake" when nee one's got on the end of his utterly woeful pitch into the far post. Joyous
  2. Swear down I've just listened to North East round up on BBC News, whilst I made my toast, and the lass didn't mention last night's football. Some "axe throwing trainer having to get taxis instead of the bus" but no football. Hey ho
  3. Skipped the match bit but the rest is like Last of the Summer Piss. 3 daft old blokes, with shit patter, living their best lives. Only in this version they all look like Compo. That "Wincy" just gets more and more pissed. Can hardly taaaak at the end.
  4. Noticed a couple of times, at least, he sent a decent pass into space that wasn't read by his colleagues. 1st half, in particular, he received the ball over our right midfield under pressure, turned and fired the ball into their half. Neither Isak, who it was meant for, or Gordon reacted in time. Would've been clean through.
  5. They mostly all are. I've said before, watched a few Sunday Supplements in the past and it's just them sitting there masturbating over each other's word salad.
  6. Apart from the fact sports writers don't have to have the same political leanings as the titles they graft for, The Guardian is "Left" in a similar way Blair was. As in not at all. Cunts spent 4 years battering the only chance of a progressive gvt in generations. As for the match, gutting as it is, the non-penalty won't cost us further involvement. That's down to suffering a Dortmund double.
  7. Koul nearly scored a late equaliser, against, eventual World Cup winners, Argenfuckingtina in the last 16. Where's he now These kids need to learn their trade for consistency alone.
  8. By having feet like Jeremy Beadle's hands
  9. Unbeaten against these cunts in over 100 years of football. Nowt to worry about
  10. GB News are gonna trial a new show called Gammonbox, apparently. Loads of old white men watch things with Gary Liniker in and are filmed necking cans of Stella in between hockling on their tv screens with apoplectic, unbridled rage.
  11. Gogglebox is them reviewing/critiquing a programme. Watching that isn't like watching them, watching that instead of watching the cunt yourself
  12. This. Granted I'm partial to the odd "Fans Reaction" compilations, when we win but I do think "why the fuck does anyone watch these things in game timr? World's fooked
  13. Unsurprisingly you totally and deliberately miss represent what I posted. I've been going since the 70s. Some great crack as and when. Certainly things, right across the board, were different then, like pubs shutting in the afternoon. Goes without saying the Keegan eras were immense, as was the atmosphere, but we were winning regularly as well. So there is that. You lot spent the entire Ashley years sat on your hands. I know, I was there. Was absolutely silent. You keep plugging away tho sunshine.
  14. The atmosphere, or lack of, has little to do with "tourists" or "jonney-come-lateley" bunch. This is just thrown around by the people disenfranchised from their old route of getting ticket with an axe to grind about that circumstance. Was fine getting tickets from Simon or Keith, back in the day, when it suited etc etc but the club's taking more responsibility for away attendees, it seems. What people need to accept, because it's true, is that we're no big shakes in the volume/support stakes. We are when it's going great and definitely better than most grounds but I sat in there for years and, for the most part, it was a fucking morgue. Last two years, not so much. Go figure. Since the ballot system, not without it's many issues, there's been some terrific atmospheres. Zero credit given to any newbies but when it's quieter it's all on them. Funny how that grafts.
  15. Granted he lost the ball in the middle of the park which, ultimately, led to the free kick conversion BUT... In real time I said Schar needed to get over to Sterling asap but he hesitated because Palmer was behind him. If he had Trippier wouldn't have needed to put his hand on Sterling giving the little prick the chance to dive. If Schar had done so he could've narrowed the angle for Sterling to subsequently pass to Palmer whilst Bruno (iirc) was steaming in on him. There was still plenty to do.
  16. Seen the stick Thiago Silva got from Chelsea fans "too old" etc and Ashley Young giving away a penalty just now I looked at a decrepit 11 Neto (Bournemouth 34) Ward (Palace 34) Silva (Chelsea 39) Ream (Fulham 36) Young (Everton 38) Ritchie (Toon 34) Lallana (Brighton 35) Milner (Brighton 37) William (Fulham 35) Rodriguez (Burnley 34) Antonio (West Ham 33) 4-4-2
  17. Either way. Martial puts his foot into Young. Young gave him the chance.
  18. Get loads of FFP moolah when we flog them ???
