Nay idea who was on commentary today but it was absolute Liverpool propaganda from start to finish I don't usually buy into the 'footy media is overtly bias toward x' because they usually just ebb and flow with whoever is winning, but today, bloody hell. Full on waxing lyrical left and right, at one point they just stopped talking about the match and just read out their Wikipedia page of achievements, I'm sure of it . Mental.

We're looking tired. Still putting the effort in, still playing our game, but tiredness is taking away our sharpness imo, and making us more one dimensional. I still believe like, but I hope Eddie and co can get some energy and focus back into the team.

I am a huge Maxi advocate but he didn't cover himself in glory tonight. Well off the boil and just not synced up with the rest of the team. I really wanted him to show why he should start games, but he was playing far too high to link up with Burn, and not nearly as direct as he can be (which is what we sorely needed). He did put the effort in to track back occasionally and make a challenge, but that part of his game, though a good effort for him, was made to look bad by everyone else's defensive work rate. I still really hope things click for him, but it didn't today.

Everyone lost the ball a bit, but without his stamina and tenacity we would've been much worse off. Relatively speaking, he was still great.

Why doesn't he simply record himself assaulting the car and have all charges dropped? /s

Thought of going down to London or at least going into town, but me fatha cannit travel anymore and I can't bear the thought of him watching it alone. Will be a wreck hiding behind the sofa, and then win or lose I'll probably run off screaming into the night.
