A free hit really. Yeah they won, but they didn't run rampant against us, and they showed us a respect they don't show many teams. Move on to the next one.
-
Just a little too much on them every time... getting there though!

It was funny but I also think it's proper shan

I know this isn't your opinion, but I don't care for this talking point of Newcastle just emulating how Liverpool/Klopp first were. Seen this narrative a few times now, and although there's some similarities I don't buy it. Feel like it's a really reductive way of looking at Howe and the work that he has done.

I'll just check the score real quick and... why aye! This is mint

Ah, had no idea!

I'm glad Tonali is playing but does anyone feel sorry for Longstaff? He'll still get loads of games for us, but the lad ran himself into the ground last season and now starts on the bench.

Hyperbole is the language of our times See your point - but it would be nice to have a natural LB in the same league as Trippier.
-
That makes sense. Our left back options are non existent.

Well, back to the fantasy football drawing board

Are you doing the karma balance thing where if Newcastle win its all good, but if newcastle lose at least you've got FPL points?

Still one of the greatest tweets Proper sad after reading his goodbye message. He's the kind of player that makes footy what it is.

Also, this is going to make a cracking episode of Vera.

Considering my knowledge of the Toon underworld is limited to INCH the metro graffiti artist and Buzzcocks the Godfather of Cramlington, this story is radge I mean, what's all this about? This needs an explanation

If he goes, I demand another mercurial dribbling genius frenchman. It's a Newcastle tradition.
-
I want him to stay. I'm not basing that on data, or pragmatic well reasoned arguments though. He can dribble and skin people, and that's exciting to watch . Regardless of whether his departure and subsequent replacement would strengthen or weaken the team, I'll be disappointed if a mazy dribbling maverick leaves our squad. I know that's not the ruthless attitude we need to win, but I'm not the manager so who cares

Wish Chelsea would stop getting bailed out by everyone like.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
Guybrush replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
So, what are the chances of realistically getting a ticket for these group games without being a season ticket holder? -
I get what you're saying in regard to the physical stadium, but most of the argument for staying revolves around the location. I don't think anybody was argue against an upgrade to facilities or increased capacity ala Triggers broom, but it's still got to stay in the same cupboard, to totally butcher your metaphor
