This is the End by the Doors would be ideal for us after a goal
-
Thought he was nailed on gone after last night.

The above post wasn't directed at anyone or either side in particular.

Mourinho is perennially linked. There's about as much need to get wound up about this as there was Hopkinson saying we'll discuss the season's performance at the end of the season.
-
Ferguson at Man United 89/90 to 90/91 was exactly that scenario (except for winning a cup 89/90 too).

Scouers mustn't have smashed up the other teams bus tonight, its usually a lucky charm when they do

what a lovely warm feeling

Deportman Road

I'm alright with him but its only Bruno, Hall, Burn, Miley, Big Jo that I'd be sorry to see go at this point if we get the right amount in transfer fee (Just the age factor in Schar's case.)
-
Boro v Ipswich at the weekend too. At least one of them's dropping points.
-
Agree. Its the big job for a Basque. Something is lined up for sure I'd say and that rules us out.
-
Christ, there's no need to throw the job Iraola's done under the bus because people are fanatically pro-Eddie. That's being totally unreasonable and make you wonder how much else is unreasonable with it. He's done an excellent job.

Hopefully the customary reaction to a manager's leaving at the end of the season being announced.
-
I'll give him this though it was almost certainly Sir Bobby's recommendation. We were going to bring in Mourinho to work under Sir Bobby with a view to taking over. We had no idea at the time of course but in retrospect that was one of smartest plans I've ever seen the club have.
-
Should be based on the future more than the present or past and how we think its going to be. Otherwise no manager that's done well would ever leave that club and Sir Bobby could have been given a 10year contract. But you've got to think ahead even just to preserve what you have at the time much less enhance it which is where were supposed to be at. Changing managers that have done well previouisly if it looks like a clubs going in the wrong direction is standard its not a new thing that came in with new-Chelsea.

Still got them staying up in the predictor, were still not there

Leeds living the dream of relegating Spurs
-
no, he's taller than Les Ferdinand
-
Practically a geographical local derby (closer than us and Boro), Red rose - white rose, footballing history, ancient non-footballing history, Cantona all the reasons basically
-
I like him but not enough to justify replacing Eddie. One of the better options if Eddie wrapped in.
-
Jeez all the signs

If it was just about one season and we'll be back to standard next season then everyone could take it on the chin but absolutely nobody knows that and there's a lot more evidence that were not getting back there than there is suggesting we will. Its rarely about a current season but the future why people start questioning. If you think next season's going to be fine then we'd have been fine with every manager. We took Dalglish and Gullit on the chin more than Sir Bobby's last full season because we expected the following seasons to be better not worse for all Sir Bobby's season was a lot better than either of theirs other on its own merit.

Stuart Pearce was it not. Beat Arsenal in his first game. Lets see Miggy do the same.

I don't want shots and chances, that's asking for a mid-season sacking and a lesser stack of replacements to pick from and without the ability to bring in their players. Either go all in regardless or accept the doubts that make them reluctant to do that. Shit or get off the pot as Momma Cornette used to say.
