Oh well, down to 11th, joint 11th/12th really, with three of the four teams behind with games in hand. Good job they sacked that bloke who had them 4th. -

In my dream last night these won 0-3. Was at Everton (iirc) and the narrative was it was a prelude to our game, but thought I'd get it out there and jinx it all the same. Freud reckons I'm bricking it. -
He had Howey, Sir Bobby sold him years later and he chose to sell Ginola and Beardsley. Ferdinand was more a PLC decision (that money was then wasted on Andersson and Guivarch). In the same time-frame and on less Arsenal won the league and Chelsea 3cups and sailed past us - both were previously behind us. Not actually sure if anybody spent more. Would have took a Hendy, a Pires/Collins (for Ginola) and 1good instead of 3woeful forwards. Keegan built the team that nearly won the league - Ginola, Hislop, Gillespie, Barton and Ferdinand on the sales of Cole, Venison, Mathie, Neilson, Fox and Sellars almost to the penny.

His attitude is fine, they all are now and they're trying their utmost and in a way it feels a bit ruthless but Krafth., not alone, just isn't good enough and is on borrowed time. I'll thank them for their efforts of late and am right behind any of them for the rest of this season. Probably/hopefully going to have a lot of that going forward.

Solano never played for him. Just my opinion but I don't think of Hamman as a good signing just decent, was not an improvement anyway.
-
Dalglish was horrific - and the amount of money he had is grossly under-estimated - he spent £30million between the summer of 97 and 98. Which was more than Keegan spent in 96 on Tino, Batty and Shearer which was the only real splurge. Only Given, Pearce and Dabizas that he signed and played under him were good. Speed was poor until Gullit came in. Serrant, Georgiadis, Tomasson, Guivarch, Andersson, Rush, Pinas, his son and Perez were inexcusably rotten signings. As was the football played and the games and riddles in interviews. Don't even dislike him but he was utterly s**t for us.

That's basically me. I'd be humble with and thankful for the minority of fans/media that were on our side and cared about a club being maltreated through the last era. But 90% either didn't care or thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the mackems. that threat always reminds me of Chandler's response to winning money from Phoebe on friends after betting and she says it cursed "I'll take it, bad things happen to me anyway (people hate us anyway). This way i can break them up with a movie"
-
I dunno they've sweet talked Drumville, Short (with Quinn's taking full-houses 98-02 as the rule not exception) and now Satori and KLD, after the previous sugar-daddies, lost fortunes and got not thanks for it, into investing in them for some reason. Used to say to a bloke I worked with that we had the wrong owners, based on how we responded to investment under SJH compared to them and how Ashley probably wouldn't run up debts if he owned them writing cheques their support couldn't cash.

I mean, that's not even the quote/principal. Its power corrupts. Based his entire narrative and post on a made up quote/event - very RTG.

Ironic losing at Luton since he's won at looting the sport for so long. -
Aye, speaking of mackems.

Just watched the highlights without the nervousness of first viewing. Looks every inch a top quality midfielder, assured, presence, confident, bit of attitude about him now. Branko Strupar's right above. Be a lush experience to see him notch to cement all of this
-
Part of his improved performances seems to be confidence and assurance, goal can only help that, but he's a reassuring presence again.

Massive this. The genuine first 6pointer arguably. Win it, which I don't think we will mind, and I think we'll be safe, leap-frogging these with games in hand. That would be too easy and suffering free though. -

Played 12 Won 0 Goals For 10 Goals Agianst 24 (-14) and the toughest game he's had apart from Man U away was West Ham at home. Left us 2nd bottom and has took West Brom from 4th/5th to 11th -

This c**ts win-rate this season still 0%? -
Whisper it, but he's actually a player of the year candidate predated Burn's arrival, Schar's upturn and Trippier and Wilson plagued by injury.
-
beeeeeww - welcome to sunderland Alex Neil.

Luton 2-0 West Bruce
-
So much still in the balance, nightmare
-
Connor Whickham just scored for MK Dons?! that can't be right, that's too obvious and ridiculous
-
Burnley aren't a bad team really, they never get gubbed and usually just miss out and have shown for years they're capable of stuff to not be ruled out - but i had ruled them out. Right fly in the ointment this.
-
After finally feeling comfortable gathering a result, despite the accursed injuries, have to sit through this torture. Just cant have any relief. At least there is Radio 5 - "still no wins and no goals for West Brom since Steve Bruce took charge"....yes, fancy that eh
