  1. On current ability and complacency, we'll probably get dicked by these guys too.
  2. Gonna get dry humped up the tea-towel holder by these bin-dipping, scummy fucks
  3. Performances simply haven't been anywhere near good enough for the last two games, embarrassingly so. There shouldn't be any excuses for it either really, if we can't even grind out results, getting goals from elsewhere on the pitch when we don't have an adequate out and out striker, against dogshit teams like Palace and West Ham - it's down to the manager and I really hate having to say that. Whether it's down to Eddie not motivating the players (they've looked far too complacent against lower teams) or whether it's a lack of tactics on his part, I don't know, but a slow start to the season, then a handful of reasonable games against 'better' teams and now back to this level of shit is clearly something that needs sorting sooner than later. I feel like we've stagnated and gone off, particularly since this summer, like all the good work that had been done in the previous two seasons is slowly unravelling, to the point that we're going to need a fresh approach. We don't look invested and we don't look capable, that's something I think the owners are likely to start questioning soon. We're not even doing the basics right for fuck sake, it's sickening.
  4. I'm losing patience with this utter shit our lot keep dishing out, there's no excuse for it this season - no mass injuries, no Europe, we sales to affect the squad. Yes we didn't bring much in, but we had enough previously to do better than this. Has Eddie lost it? Are the players no longer invested? Just fed up to the back teeth with the utter wank we're being fed week in, week out, it's barely better than the Bruce era. Sick of it.
  5. This is another game we shouldn't even look slightly like losing, anything other than a win will be down to the players being complacent and Eddie not being effective with a plan or making sure the players toe the line imo. Palace are shit, their league position shows that, we know they're rotten. Our boys need to pull their bloody fingers out with their mentality and we need to get back to it - COME ON!
  6. You confused me there with the Tory comment, I thought we were talking about Labour peer, Baron Bassam from Brighton, for pushing the amendment - that'll teach me for skip reading the last few posts! https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-owners-reality-after-30477522
  7. Looking at this shit West Ham team, I have to wonder how this has happened - then I remember, we like to fuck up against shit teams, plus we've had a pointless international break to disrupt the momentum we'd built up previously. ... fucking tedious bollocks.
  8. As much as I hate to admit it, I'd say Ferguson. Hitzfeld and Scolari must be close, all three won with different teams at different levels. That's before putting other names in there who did amazing things with smaller teams, like Clough, Stein, etc. There's others on par as well who won with multiple bigger teams, like Cudicini and Jose - of course, I'd be being biased if I added Robson in there, but what he did with Ipswich needs a mention.
  9. I've always found it a bit tedious with the whole 'Pep is the best manager EVER' thing. I mean, it's not like he's ever really had that hard of a job has he? Every club he's managed has already been there or thereabouts and also has generally had masses of cash to spend to bring in the best players for the league they're in. Could he successfully manage a worse team and actively get more out of worse players? I'm not so sure. Then again, it's just another reason the current crop of pundits comes across as being lazy or just agreeing with whatever fits the current Sky agenda. Edit - for the record, I'm not saying Pep's shit, I quite like him as it happens, but I'm just not convinced he's the best.
  10. Fuck me, now they're rattling on about Man City losing to Tottenham - got to talk about those 'special' teams, right?
  11. Same old shite from Sky, makes me laugh when 'Spitter' Carragher is even tossing one off over Man Utd, predictable bollocks over the same rigged teams
  12. Nope, don't want him, unless it's at a massively knocked down price.
  13. Weirdly, definitely seem to play better with him in the team - although, that could also just be the turn of the recent dip. Either way, we've looked better of later and if people want to give him credit for that, I'm not going to stop them
