Fuck sake, three goals against us, at home, by a newly promoted team? I just don't get our lot, why can't we get some consistently good performances and last out whole games for more than a couple of games in a row? So frustrating.

I think, common sense pending, Eddie will get until the end of the season to start showing proper improvement - after another transfer window and seeing where we go in the various cups we're in. Then, if we finish mid-table and win nothing, with the team still looking arse, the owners will probably seriously look at the situation and put him on notice going into the 26/27 season. I just feel, unless we fell into the relegation slots Eddie still has too much in the bank to bin him off this season. Personally, I want him to come good, but I just can't see how that's going to happen without some serious changes to tactics, attitude and maybe some actual actions from the owners in showing that they really do want to take us to the next level - where's the new training ground? Where's the new stadium? The new academy? The dialogue between club and fans seems to have fizzled out in the last couple of years as well.

Ha! Let's face it, if a team or player has been on a bad run, it's usually us that helps them resolve that problem during the season...

I have to admit, I'm finally starting to lose patience a bit with Eddie - I think more because it feels like he's trying too hard to be clever sometimes instead of sticking to what we've been good at in the past. I know we have to shake things up occasionally, but we just don't have an identity any more.

At this point, I just want us to go back to basics, concentrating on pressing and covering each other, with either a 4-1-3-2 or 4-4-1-1 setup. Has the playing personnel really changed that much in the last couple of years that we are no longer able to play with any intensity or aggression? Losing the rat hasn't caused us to play like this, we used to be a team of players, now they just amble around looking lost or unsure whether to tackle or how hard when they do. Gordon's crap, Ramsey's mediocre, Tonali looks like he's out of position and Woltemade isn't being utilised to his strengths. How we're making this pile of shite Man Utd team look even mildly capable is insane.
