What I don't get is why anyone would even enter this thread if they didn't have any belief in that optimism or interest in propagating it, is it just to be contrary f*ckers or what? I mean, it strikes me that some people are just those bellend types who think that just because they're able do something it's then their right to do it, whether it's the right or wrong thing to do. The whole premise of this thread is easy enough, post in it if you've got something positive to say, otherwise use the other takeover thread... pretty sure the clue's in the thread title to be honest, some of us don't want to see a bunch of whinge-arsing w*nkers trying to bring everyone else down with their attempts at trying to win the prize for the best doom-mongering, miserable c*nt award. I don't come in here to read a load of negative b*llocks and people giving reasons why the takeover won't happen, I come in here to see if there's a glimmer of hope still, however slim.

Bruce is doing nothing just damage now. Hasn't brought anything to the party but is now also stirring up trouble by blaming the players for everything, why would they do anything to avoid relegation? If they get any points he grabs the plaudits and his media pals claim it's down to him turning things around. Having him around is just causing problems, the only reason Ashley won't cut him loose is the compo Bruce would get, but that ridiculous compared to the money Ashley will lose if we're relegated, some business genius Fat Mike is!

Not really sure why anyone would take American Intelligence services seriously anyway, they're rarely reliable. 'American' and 'Intelligence' are two words that don't tend to get put together in general, especially where their military and surveillance services are involved

Therefore, I'm hoping for a result, any points gained tbh, just to avoid relegation and not hamper the takeover which I'm pinning all my hopes on. ...do I think we'll get anything against Everton though? You say this but surely you don't wish ill-health on the bloke? I mean, he's clearly out of his depth, incapable of doing the job and in essence brought it all on himself, but the guy looks mentally shattered and maybe finds himself in a position where he feels stuck. On one hand he might feel he can't leave because he wants to do all he can to turn things around in the one chance he's going to ever get to manage this club... then again, on the other hand, perhaps he doesn't even see how bad he is, entrenched in his own routine. I'd like to think he's not just hanging around for a pay-off, maybe he is, but when all said and done, although I want him gone, I can't wish ill-health on him, not when the actual problem is the fat prick that hired him and the ongoing shite with the Prem stopping us from progressing under a new owner.
