Everyone is talking about individuals but honestly a lot of the issues I'm seeing in the first half is a team who are not playing together as a team. It's to hard to create anything when the midfield does not build up anything at all and you're relying on individual brilliance from the wingers. For too long in that first half the game plan basically was get it wide and hope to do something. I was really encouraged by that last 10 minutes because the entire team was involved and wasn't relying on individual play. Hopefully it continues, because if we're expecting hopeful crosses into the box and ignoring Bruno, Tonali etc to be the plan of attack it's going to be a long afternoon.

I don't think that's the issue really, if they played like they did for the last 10 minutes the whole half I'm pretty sure they definitely would have scored. I don't know why they go for long periods without really passing as a team but it really isn't helping anyone. Play like that last 10 minutes in the second half and goals will come.

Considering this has been happening for most of the season I imagine he's fine but just doesn't have the confidence to play at a competitive level yet. I assume if he's actually had setbacks then we would have heard about it by now.

I haven't seen the games from last year so fair enough. I just see Ramsey as the left forward against Leeds (one of many examples) and think that the system isn't really at fault here but players just put in areas that simply isn't effective. I don't think we've seen an optimal use of it yet this year and I don't think that's anyone's fault, just a by product of injuries and schedules forcing rotations.

Depending on how the season goes I wouldn't be too shocked if a LW is on the agenda next summer. Very confident that Woltemade alongside at least one winger who is a genuine difference maker would make a massive difference. Maybe that difference maker is already here but if it's not then I wouldn't be too shocked to see the club try to get one if funds allow.

It hasn't helped we've had a real mix of nonsense in those games mostly. I would be surprised if it looked as bad with the 4 being Murphy Tonali Bruno and Hall (Joelinton and Ramsey are also fine in this LM spot) and the 3 being Elanga, Woltemade and Gordon.

I was going to say, from what I've seen so far this season the midfields lack of goals isn't really the issue. (Although I'm sure they're capable of playing better than what I've seen) Someone who won't treat the ball like a grenade and allow the team to push up and apply pressure, maybe they exist on the team already idk but from what I've seen the front 3 would be really dangerous if the 3 behind them could help sustain some support. I understand the manager has a focus on transitions which is fine but I'm pretty sure for the team to get where they want to get to eventually (title contention) they'll have to improve in the phases outside of transition too.

I think rotating one of the CBs and one of the wingers is maybe okay. But rotating all 4 seems like too much.

Aye the reaction to it was very strange I didn't see the Liverpool game live so when I saw it I assumed he started but it was a reaction based on 15 minutes of play if that. Was even stranger once I actually sat down and watched it.

Howe said in his presser that it’s important for them to be firing because if they don’t it hurts the team. Maybe they saw it but yeah it’s massive for them to perform, hopefully it continues.

Also won the penalty, his overall play is frustrating but like if you directly contribute to 2 goals it’s hard to criticise too much.
