  1. I'll skim over Giggs's peak being higher than Bale's because...no. But yeah, I get the thinking behind it. For me Salah has had one or two 10/10 seasons and like seven or so 9/10 seasons vs Ronaldo's one or two 10/10 seasons and two or so 9/10 seasons. If we're doing an 'only peak' XI I think Suarez gets in before anyone as well. He's the highest peak I've ever seen in the league, higher even than Henry, Shearer, Ronaldo, Bale.
  2. By that metric Bale gets in over Giggs and Suarez gets in over Shearer or any other suggestion at CF. Tbh I think she's just about right. Salah's got the longevity at an extremely high level in his favour. Ronaldo needed another couple of seasons at the level he was at in 08/09 to take the place.
  3. Two wrongs make a right Joey.
  4. Bit weird tbh, there's bairns there.
  5. Showing off about the amount of games he's managed is about as damning with faint praise as you can get as well. It's like when older people think they know more solely because they've been around longer. Well done, you managed over 1,000 games, won nothing and nigh on all of the fans, plenty of the players, and even a journalist around the clubs you managed can't stand the sight of you. What a legacy.
  6. Gayle was as respectful as he could be and that's Bruce's response. He should have gone in two-footed on the haggis-faced cunt.
  7. Is it not the jumping the gun that's the weird bit? It's not even just strong rumours at this point, Newcastle’s own MP has said to wait for further news. Yet there are still so many ignoring all of that.
  8. That Dwight Gayle interview is class. Well worth it just to hear him wax lyrical about King Edward.
  9. The Venn diagram of RTG posters who scour Google maps for football catchment areas vs wearside-based nonces who scour Google maps for first school catchment areas is just a circle.
  10. So many that are really close together for different reasons, but I'd go for that first half against Spurs because it was hilarious. Easy to forget that was a pivotal match at the time.
  11. Busquets, without a doubt
  12. There's a bit after the 2nd goal on the matchcam where you see Bruno telling someone, maybe Murphy, to be sharper into tackles. Either way both of them led by example, the amount of times Bruno ragdolled Macallister for the ball was class.
  13. Anyone looking for content should get the Chronicle special edition, it's genuinely absolutely class and has loads of photos I haven't seen anywhere else.
  14. Agree with the sentiment but I'm pretty confident a bus is being arranged

    Dan Burn

By my count he's got 7 players in or back in their international squads that weren't already in. Astounding Hall, Livramento, Gordon, Burn, Joelinton, with Pope and Wilson getting back in.
  16. This lad gets me every time like. Everything about his face in that segment sums up the feeling at the time. Just absolute disbelief.
  17. Loved this. Dan Burn loving country music is a crease

    England

It's the first match and he's identified the problem. Hysteria over nowt.

    Anthony Gordon

True, but I'm conditioned to think of hip injuries as being really serious

    Anthony Gordon

Footage of him walking away in the England thread
