It's also new, he's generally incredibly reliable on crosses. -

You can see confidence is down. All of our forward passing is right on the edge of us losing it. I'm convinced we're going to click soon, but it does feel like something needs to change for that to happen. Burn has performed valiantly at LB, but in this match it's as clear as it's ever been that Hall can't come back soon enough. Wouldn't surprise me if Howe tried to shoehorn everyone in though, dropping Burn might be the right thing to do but it would also feel canny unfair. -
Was sooooooo close to going for 2-2 in the predictors as well.

All of that does sound to me like it means he'll be going, but I absolutely cba to fret about it like we did in the summer.

FWIW the worst thing about it is something that I was unable to do when designing it from memory. The stripes on the front are also on the sleeves, with nothing acting as a barrier and no matching up. Me not being able to do that in the design makes it look better. So it actually clashes like this at the top of the shirt as well. Also, I'm sure that if I've seen it, I'll not be one of the only ones and the photo will end up on FootyHeadlines soon enough.

As expected, it's a white patch on the back, same as this season's

The prototype of the adidas originals tracksuit I've seen is nice. The training stuff, not so much
-
Yeah, though I'd say it's 99% accurate. What I saw didn't have any sponsors on and I couldn't properly see the adidas sleeve stripes, so I just guessed they're black.

I'll do a 'based on rumours' kit in EAFC Kit Creator at some point
-
The reaction will be absolutely justified this time like. It makes the barcode kit of the early '90s look plain by comparison. It's absolutely vile

Yes, this was it! Thank you. Although the image of it happening is very different in my mind. I can't shake it being Saudi Arabia at USA '94, very weird.
-
Is the Mandela Effect engaged here? I very specifically remember a team being told to leave the field and them refusing to play because a president or prince or something was so disgusted by the ref or the result. In my mind it was definitely a Middle Eastern country, possibly Saudi Arabia and it was at USA '94. When I google it, it's like it never happened. I'm nowhere near finding it.

His Champions League form until tonight has been very good. I expect that's what Howe sees in him.
-
We need two of him really. Also becoming apparent that all refs think being tall means the threshold for being fouled is higher.
-
Not shite as in he knows how to play there, doesn't really put a foot wrong on the ball, tries hard to do what he's supposed to do, but is really badly suited to the position due to his lack of agility, pace, and attacking nous.
-
Yeah, Hall is a left back, Burn isn't, which is why he is and plays like our 3rd choice left back. Not gonna dig him out on that basis, I wouldn't expect our 3rd choice left back to be Maldini.
-
He's not even shite at fullback, it's just that isn't one. He nigh on always plays well as someone who's incredibly ill suited to the position, if that makes sense.
-
Messi and Brazilian Ronaldo, they're the only two I'd definitely have ahead and my third would possibly be Suarez. After that I think the shootout is really competitive and could be anyone amongst Iniesta, Suarez, Maldini, Pirlo, Zidane, C.Ronaldo, Xavi, Neymar, Ronaldinho and more. Again think it's just what type of player you like.
