Funniest psychological tick you notice about people like that is they're not someone who enjoys the team they support winning in the conventional sense of civic pride or anything like that, they're someone who's picked a team that looks like it's going to win and are using it as a proxy replacement for them winning. Never any self-awareness to see that their whole 'winner's mentality' shtick reads as overcompensation for their closeted insecurity. It's like interacting with someone who keeps banging on about shagging lasses, beer, rugby, cars, and Clarkson, but that someone is Julian Clary.

I think it's class, just as an entertaining film and for all the subtext/allegory stuff. It's canny famous in the online alpha-mindset cannon as well tbf and very specific Only other film similar to it in the collection is Wall Street and that doesn't hit the nail on the head as well and isn't as good.

You watch Glengarry Glen Ross once and this is what can happen.

Fulham vs. Newcastle United: 21/09/24 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

We should do whatever the fuck we want actually. Judging by your post, "fans" like you are a plague on football and you'd be better off joining the rest of the insufferable wankers that "support" Real Madrid. Following what someone like you thinks we should be doing sounds like hell. What a fucking arsehole -

Wish I could find the angle of Barnes' goal from the stands with our coaching staff celebrating as it goes in. -

Dunno why it needs that comparison but he's obviously not. -

My prediction is that whatever the punishment, it'll end up being very little or nothing on appeal and it'll then set a precedent. -

I have no idea if this start is a good or a bad sign at the moment like. -
Like most players, he's a tool with a few applications. I would say that in the majority of games we play, he should be very good, but in matches like today where the opposition are okay with us playing a possession game and then are very good at breaking and pressing, that's when he's at his weakest and you maybe need him to play in a different role as a destroyer with players who are better in possession maybe? Or not play at all.

I have no real love or hate for Everton tbh, but fucking hell it seems like they keep losing in the worst ways possible.

Was creased at him saying vocal point and then 'chappers' subtlely saying focal point

Danny Rose talking like me nanna and insisting on calling it a vocal point -
It does look good, of course it does, it's based on the best kit we've ever had. Shame about the shorts, but it's not like I'm going to be wearing them anyway.
-
He's generally not a good kicker, but I have to admit that the last few matches it hasn't been anywhere near as bad as previously. His long kicking generally stays in play now. By comparison, against PSG last season he hit 4 goal kicks in a row into touch with alarming accuracy.
-
The problem with Barnes is that he's so good from the bench that he's a bit of a victim of his own success if he doesn’t immediately do the same from starting.
-
A bit of a needless dig, but that's 100% a goal if Dubravka's playing. I thought it was a certain goal when Cunha hit it, that's when you know you've got a fantastic 'keeper
-
Definitely feels more unsustainable than playing-bad-and-winning-is-a-good-sign, but I'm also expecting us to click into gear at some point as well, so in that respect I can't grumble.

Longstaff is perfectly fine in an under the cosh match. Joelinton is excellent when we're playing in transition. Both are often hopeless when we're playing possession football.
