My manager who's an Everton supporter thinks they won't pass the fit and proper owners test. Seems a bit naive tbh, but he's probably taking whatever hope he can get. Going with these investors sounds like a guaranteed death sentence. For all the fan banter and so on, that shouldn't and can't be allowed to continue to happen to football clubs.

I think he still needs to find himself as a player, I'm still not sure where he'll end up.

It's a measure of how far we've come that people are getting their knickers in a twist over Dan Burn. He's a good few levels above what we've been used to over the last decade or so, being slow and not being Alaba or Robertson is about as bad as it gets, otherwise he's a very solid defender and good on the ball. Even 2 or 3 years ago he'd be one of our best players.
