Ramsdale is such a needless risk taker like.

Don't think it's a case of Liverpool missing Mane like, not least because Luis Diaz is one of the few players actually performing for them. The problem seems to be throughout the team. Whenever I've watched them Salah, VVD, TAA, Robertson, and Gomez are all well well below the level we're used to from them.

Definitely more of a pen than Burn's yesterday. Tbf, both were ref decisions and not clear and obvious mistakes, but we all now know that isn't how VAR's been being used.
-
Apparently he was doing a cumtown bit

I hope you enjoy your birthday, just please don't forget that it's another day closer to your death.

That Lewis is probably the most clueless pundit going, mind, which takes some doing.

I kind of do in that it felt more like a 3-1 to me than a 5-1 but I don't get how it's come up with those exact figures. Raya probably should have saved both of Bruno's goals so maybe both chances had a pretty low xG.

It's a back and forth. It isn't giving it back then suddenly changing to 'calling out' when it goes back the other way again. 'abuse' ffs

'called out'

Froggy's never been canny, he's always been like this.

Howe looking at Bruno's game and realising he could and should be scoring more headers is a hell of a shout, like. Who on here would watch Bruno and come up with that of all things?

I think whoever plays on the counter in this wins. -
Daveed on Sky Sports talking through his matches now

And yet Murphy has now had 2 very good performances when starting. One swallow doesn't make a summer, but it's a running theme with Howe now that he puts players in and they deliver. It's a very good sign.

Best midfielder we've had since Rob Lee, the absolute fucking boy.
-
Should be 4th because of the Palace debacle as well, but considering the injuries it's been excellent so far.
-
Love how efficient he is with his touches. Nigh on everything he does has a purpose. Out of his feet and then forward. Likewise for Burn tbh, despite him having an off day at LB today.
-
Anyone else aware that they haven't even really noticed Schar for the past few matches? Not a bad thing either, he's just been getting on with it.
-
Fair play, that's some excellent projection as trolling.
-
Is Matt Doherty alright? He looks like he's on crack.

Howe is everything I've ever wanted in a Newcastle manager tbh, I couldn't be happier with the job he's done and is doing. There's nothing I need to overlook if that makes sense? For example with Rafa I had to overlook the style of football (not fully his fault obviously), but with Howe, at least at the moment, he's ticking all of the boxes for me.

Another match that felt alien but in a great way. You look at the score and you think it's a thrashing, but Brentford weren't bad at all imo and we weren't in top gear. That's not arrogance or a backhanded compliment, or saying the scoreline flattered us or anything either, it was just one of those matches. We played really well and deserved to win, the way we press and dominate possession is a joy to behold and puts much less pressure on us to make the right pass and take chances because we're so good at winning the ball back that you know it's in us to go time and again. I love the way we play, I think I can see what Howe has in mind for us and it's exactly my type of football. Love it. Edit: Watching it back again, Brentford weren't bad but Raya was Almiron's goal and the O.G were largely about us forcing it to happen.

I love him. So much of the good that we do involves him.

If Miggy carries on like this it potentially does more harm than good getting a RW in, he's been sensational
