  1. Circumventing the 50+1 rule in Germany is shite as well, hate that.
  2. Knowingly throwing a stone from inside a glass house here, but I can't stand the RB teams.
  3. I can't imagine a club doing that without knowing that they'll be bailed out in some way or another.
  4. Tbh, I tend to rate based on how much I enjoyed a player's performance. Couldn't care less if Forest were weak or whatever, every single one of those players was on it in one way or another from start to finish. If you start out by giving Pope, who had literally nothing to do, a 6.5, then giving Trippier a 5.5, Willock a 6, and Bruno and Joelinton 7s makes no sense when none of them put a foot wrong while also having much more to do.
  5. Watching the match back last night, he was a 9 like. Crazy how many times he immediately nipped in to nick the ball as soon as any of their forwards got the ball.
  6. Bruno naturally moves to that side tbh. ASM tends to face up defenders rather than run in behind as well. ASM still has a pretty strong relationship with Targett and Joelinton
  7. A link that makes the least sense like. They're not in the Champions League and he plays in Saka's position.
  8. Aston Villa 2 - 1 Everton Arsenal 3 - 1 Leicester Brighton 1 - 1 Newcastle Man City 6 - 0 Bournemouth Southampton 1 - 1 Leeds Wolves 1 - 2 Fulham Brentford 1 - 2 Man United Notts Forest 0 - 2 West Ham Chelsea 1 - 3 Tottenham Liverpool 3 - 0 Crystal Palace
  9. Utterly depressing that we have ambitions for literally the very top of the game and there are still people in our own support thinking like that
  10. It's not about whether it's unrealistic or not, it's that it's an absolutely needless buzz kill
  11. I should say as well, it's not just our fans. As much as we bemoan the reality of modern day football, fans buy into it and perpetuate it themselves
  12. This hangover from the Ashley era where people seem to be doing a 'plays well=he'll be off to another club' equation in their heads, with what seems like a three week period of enjoying it. Would love to just enjoy our players, the ambition, and the future without all these Salacious Crumbs in my ear 'being realistic' Nowt worse than doom clouds on a come down when everyone's on a high.
  13. 66 The differentials didn't pay off, but nothing disasterous.
  14. Brighton at full strength will be hard to break down like and they often start off well. I'd be happy with a point right now.

    Joelinton

    You're thinking of George Campos

    Lee Charnley

    Oh god, poor fuckers
  17. I was ambivalent to him. All the people on here bitterly whinging about him and bullying him for the way he speaks drove me into his arms out of spite and I found that he's actually often decent, seems canny, and is very dedicated. Really wish everyone would get over him though, ridiculous how often he's talked about.
  18. Of course Bernardo Silva's non-stop Gary, he's been on for 5 minutes and he's chasing down Boden, who's been chasing shadows for 85.
  19. Ah yeah! Fucking hell, what's he doing then? Might want to be back in the area I suppose
  20. He's an Everton fan. Don't really rate him as a player, but I can see that being a good signing in terms of what I've heard about him as a leader.
  21. You'd think they'd stick Alvarez on, they're missing what Sterling gave them too
  22. Aye, training ground would make sense with it being just up the road from where they are now. Imagine the South Gosforth roundabouts at half 2 if there was a stadium there. The infrastructure around there could never handle it like, it's already held together with spit and string around there as it is.
  23. That would be beyond awful
