  1. I don't think Vieira is incredible or anything, but the manager doesn't seem like the problem with Palace to me, with their squad I wouldn't expect them to be much higher than where they are with the way this season's panned out. It's not like they were in a terrible position either, every team below Villa's in exactly the same situation and really it's only West Ham, Leicester, and possibly Wolves where you can say they should definitely be doing better with the players they have.
  2. He's a £100m player I don't think he's underrated like, you'd expect more than a better version of Jonas Guttierez for that money.
  3. Keegan couldn't have possibly been vindicated more than with how Modric turned out like. That absolute chancer Jiminez telling one of the best midfielders of all time that he wasn't good enough.
  4. That's an absolutely mad decision imo.
  5. Same applies tbh. To me he's a pointless stepping stone signing at best
  6. It was originally a circle for 60 years like. Personally think it looks miles better in this case.
  7. We're already a win away from moving into that dream situation of 3rd. Providing we end up in a CL spot, it goes without saying that we should be aiming for better players than McTominay
  8. Such an obvious thing to say, but if it was Harry Kane rather than Mitro, they'd all be falling over themselves to play down what he did.
  9. It's almost funny in a self-depreciating way

If he's hiding from the ball, it negates everything. I'm not saying he does, but it's undeniable that it doesn't look good if lots of supporters of a club are saying the same thing.

If he does hide from the ball - something that seems to be a popular opinion on the Man United reddit - then it's hardly silly to draw from that that we wouldn't keep possession as well as we could like. I don't rate McTominay whatsoever, I think he's a poor footballer for the level that we're aspiring to, so hopefully we can all look forward to a better signing than him.
  13. Howe's very good at turning water to wine, I think what I'd prefer would be for him to turn wine into wine from the holy grail.

I think we all know you can. Anyone criticising what is quite clearly a potential transfer that's open to scrutiny and there you are.
  15. I can't stand it when they'll say what's basically akin to 'yes, this is fucked up, but the officials were following the rules' when even on that level it's clear that that's not really the case and they've fucked up.
  16. I disagree tbh. Imo ultras are largely just firms with tifos, both engage in hooliganism and are romantiscised in different ways.
  17. Hopefully Howe's radar is right next to a button that shoots a torpedo hahahhaah
  18. We do, they're just called firms imo. Barely any difference between them, if at all.
  19. It's mad how the average stagnates in Jan-Feb, then massively shoots up between March and April.
  20. Watching the first half back when I'm not up a height and ASM wasn't even that bad tbh. He didn't play well in the way that Anderson did when he came on, or Murphy did, but in terms of actually doing things wrong he lost the ball in the middle of the pitch on 36 minutes and that was it. The rest of his performance was a mix of successful through balls, square passes, winning a free kick, one time when he dribbles on the right then plays it to Murphy who plays through Longstaff, then a nice one-two and a through ball to Willock for our goal. Hardly 'shocking'. Imo he was too safe and not ASM enough, playing easy passes, keeping his position and not taking players on enough. As I said at the time during the match, in that first half for me only Trippier and Murphy played really well. The rest weren't at the races a lot of the time, including Isak up until his goal. If you were going to single out players for playing badly in that first half, the really obvious candidates were Botman and Schar. That's why it seems so obviously weird when ASM gets singled out within that context, and why this idea that he doesn't take his chances and it's the end of him at Newcastle is weird when it's in the context of one under par half in a run of 3 or 4 good performances. It's undeniable imo that he's overly scritinised more than any other player in the squad.
  21. I very much doubt that it'll actually be hard hitting like.
  22. As has been said before, Casemiro should have even more reds than he's had, it's not everyone else's fault that he's a cabbage patch faced thug.
